MitB Participants for this year
 

So, who will end up in each MitB this year? Who from each show has the best chance of winning it? Will they keep it at 8 men per show, or just have 6 from each instead? Will they say fuck it and have 1 8 man match with 4 superstars from each show?

I see it like this.

Raw will feature: Del Rio, Miz, Truth, Bourne, Swagger, Riley, Big Show, and Morrison?

Smackdown will go with: Sheamus, Henry, Rhodes, Dibiase, Danielson, Cara, Tatsu?, and Gabriel?

Dunno, the SD MitB looks a bit underwhelming to say the least.

You do understand that Sin Cara never loses.

You really think they'd have a guy that green in the WWE win a MitB match and win a title within a year? The guy has no legit finisher, he botches quite a bit, has 0 charisma, and you think WWE wants to put a title on him?

Raw Money in The Bank:
The Miz, R Truth, JoMo, Kofi, Zig Zag, Big Show, Del Rio, and Evan Bourne or Swagger as wildcard entry.

Smackdown Money in the Bank:

Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Big Zeke, Kane, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, and wildcard spot goes to Sin Cara.

I see a Zeke/Barrett rematch for the IC title at MitB, with either Gabriel or Slater, or both involved as well. I also see a Kofi/Ziggler rematch, but wouldn't be against either or both of them being in the Raw MitB over the likes of Big Show and Bourne.

True he is green, True he has no legit finisher, True he may lack in the charisma department but does those three criteria effect him being in the money in the bank match??

The answer is: NOOO!!!

Money in the Bank matches are meant to be highspots, take risks, fly off the seat of your pants matches that make the fans believe that anyone of of the 8 participants can win the match and have that guaranteed contract. Yes we all know that Sin Cara would not win the match. But the guy could provide some awesome highspots in the match and make the tempo of the match speed up. I would be interested in seeing him in the match more than the likes of Ted Dibiase or a Justin Gabriel or another Corre washout.

He must have charisma because people love him, but that's me being picky, he won't win money in the bank.

Looking at the list above, i'm thinking they might just have one MITB match for both brands. Although you forgot Kane.

Cara will be in the match no doubt, especially considering the lack of depth SD has for a match like this. You really think they'd put Trent Baretta or one, if not both, of the Uso's in a MitB? No offense CSL, I like the Usos too.

I am not a fan of Sin Cara. But he has been on a winning streak since coming to the WWE. Hence I don't want him to be a part of the Smackdown MITB ladder match.

Yeah, Kane is a MitB staple now. He'll be in the SD one for sure. Place him in there over Gabriel. I could see Rey in the Raw MitB too.

i don't see either match happening, maybe i can see Kofi and Dolph again given the 2 out of 3 falls ended in DQ. But with Barrett and Zeke, Zeke beat him this past week on SD cleanly in a re-match. I see no reason for creative to drag out another 4 weeks of storylines to culminate in another rematch which isn't needed. Besides, Smackdown lacks the starpower talent to carry a money in the bank match if both or either man is not a participant at this point in time. If they have a rematch we're left with tards like Heath Slater or Tyson Kidd to fill a spot.

But as previously stated, what else do you do with a spot monkey in a high profile match like MitB? He'll be in the match, solely to perform high spots. Like Shelton used to be. I see the SD MitB opening the show, like last year, and I see the winner being a toss up.

Is it confirmed that both Raw and Smackdown will have a MITB Ladder Match?

I really hope they just go with like four Raw guys and four Smackdown! guys in one match, with of course Alberto Del Rio going over.

I can't imagine Kidd in a MitB. If anything, 6 of the MitB spots for SD should go to Cody, Sheamus, Henry, Cara, Danielson, and Tatsu. They should then have Ryder "switch brands" as part of a trade or something and he gets added to the match, and then have WWE pull some swerve where they bring Shelton back for a night just to be in the match.

Dont care whos in it, as long as Cody wins its all good w/ me.

Not sure yet, but I'm sure they'll start a tournament for spots over the next 2 weeks. As for Raw, if anyone other than Del Rio wins, I'd be shocked.

why would you put Yoshi Tatsu in the match over someone like Kane who is a more established main event talent. Tatsu has has little, if anytime on television lately. Last time i watched or knew of him being on any television is either superstars or being delegated to NXT chasing around the bimbo Maryse. Honestly there are more qualified and more established talent like Barrett, Kane, Dibiase, Big Zeke that will more than likely end up in the match.

Why would you be shocked?? I would not be at all suprised if they continued with the "young guns" push and gave JoMo a shot at the WWE Title picture or even R Truth another shot. Even Miz winning for two years in a row is believable. With Punk's contract expiring and probably not signing a new contract unless its at the eleventh hour on the last day, Raw is gonna need top heel heat on the mic and in the ring. Miz winning it two years in a row and then Punk leaving the next night on Raw could give Miz increased heat by saying he did the same thing Punk did and drawing heat off Punk's departure. Del Rio isn't the only spot on choice for the win. They could even throw you a swerve since they have Big Show darkhorse win it and turn heel at the PPV. There are lots of scenarios.

I hope they squeeze Zack Ryder in the RAW MITB ladder match.

Reckon Sheamus is winning the SD MITB. As for Raw, would make perfect sense for Del Rio to win.

as much as I love Zack Ryder and since I am the Browski of the Year I wish the same to Dave but don't see it happening. Heck i'm even counting on my internet champion being "future endeavored" by years end just because i know how the "E" works every year.

its memories and matches like this that show the true potential Zack Ryder could have on RAW or SD given a decent push and given the TV time all the more reason to see him in either RAW or SD MITB Ladder Matches would be great.

How you don't have the spot machine Kofi Kingston in MITB is beyond me.

I actually think Nicky Fives is pretty spot on.

Except, I think Kofi will win it.

Nicky was very close on the Raw side. Miz, not Drew. That's a damn solid match. This will probably be the first PPV I've seen since Mania.

Oh, and Del Rio instead of Dolph. Didn't notice that.

So yeah, Raw is: Miz, Truth, Riley, Rey, Del Rio, Bourne, Swagger, and Kofi.

I would be extremely surprised if Barrett did not win on the Smackdown side.... on Raw, it's a whole 'nother story.... I picked Riley, but would rather see Drew win it.....He's been in a holding pattern for too long.....

Geez I would have thought there would have at least been some qualifying matches leading up to the PPV anyhow since Ziggler has been omitted from the RAW side Kingston is definetly my pick to win. Like I said before he will cash it on Punk after he defeats Cena. As for SD it should feature Rhodes, Bryan, Jackson, Kane, Sheamus, Sin Cara, DiBiase, and Barrett and I expect the fomer leader of The Corre to win that honor.

The RAW one turned out very similarly to how I thought it would. I'm kind of upset that Ziggler isn't in the match, but he'll probably defend the US Title on the show. My pick for SmackDown!'s match is:

* Cody Rhodes
* Daniel Bryan
* Ezekiel Jackson
* Kane
* Sheamus
* Sin Cara
* Wade Barrett

The last spot could go to either Ted DiBiase or Jinder Mahal. It depends on just how hard and fast they are planning on pushing Mahal. Mark Henry won't make the SmackDown! match, because he'll probably be facing Big Show at the event.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that.

i think it will be del rio to win the raw one. i have a hard time believing they will have two heels win the MITB but right now i would put my money on either barrett or rhodes winning the smackdown one.

You know who should be considered for a spot in the RAW MitB match if RAW and SD! have separate matches?
