Chances are this is Matt being a dumbass and trying to work everyone, but I still hope someone with access to him makes sure one way or the other.

I'm definately conflicted. I hope it's not a real suicide note, but at the same time I don't want it to be a work. If it's a work it's sad and it's sick.

Damn straight the police take these things seriously. Matt may conceivably face charges for this. Attempting suicide is punishable by law in most places, as is publicly threatening to commit a crime.

So it appears Matt's video from earlier tonight was another attempt to get attention. It is so sad, on so many levels

Do we know that though? It doesn't say Matt was confirmed alive, it sounds like they just turned up at Jeff and Beth's house asking questions. You normally don't tweet someone in anger if they're in the same house as you.
