Some drivers were worried before the race because cars were getting up to 225mph, which is just insane. Especially for a field this large.

One of our best exports in Motor Racing. He wasn't so well known here, but I remember when he was almost getting a seat in F1 with BMW :(

Indycar needs restrictor plates like NASCAR uses to keep speeds down on the big tracks.

I don't know why I need to know, but..

I heard someone suggest that they probably wont run the series next year, not entirely due to the crash and all but also because they were losing money hand over fist to start with and this will only end up costing them more money in the long run.
