2011 Black Friday Gaming Deals
Cheapassgamer's website set up the list of all the major places having deals for this year's Black Friday and even Microsoft is having their own deals.
Walmart is setting aside a bunch of Skyward Sword limited edition sets so they don't all sell out on Sunday when the game gets released. Quote:

Cool, I was looking for something like this earlier.
Thanks. |
Wondering if that PS3 is backward compatible. May have to goto Gamestop before work that day.
|
Pretty sure all PS3s outside the initial launch 60GBs are NOT backwards compatible

They lateremoved it for ALL versions, though. His answer is no. |
60GB was fully backwards compatible. There were a few versions after it that were partial. Then they just quit. :(
Any of the newer ones won't contain compatibility. |
Can't help but "scoff" at this. Seems so ridiculous. In Peru everything is like 50% cheaper than it would ever be on Black Friday. Just tell me what you want and pay me back later.

Sega is holding their own pre-Black Friday sale for classic Dreamcast and Sega Genesis games on PSN and XBLA.

:foc: Xbox screwing up the deals.
I can't confirm if the Sega deals on PSN are split between everyone and PS+ Members but Crazy Taxi, SEGA Rally Online Arcade, and Streets of Rage 2 are limited to just gold members on Xbox Live for the discount as of now. Non-gold members can't get those games on discount until maybe the 27th or 28th if Microsoft keeps the normal 5-day lock. |
Sony put up the list of stuff getting the "Black Friday" treatment with the sale starting November 23 and lasting till the 29th. Sony is calling their sale the "PSN Winter Sale".
