Honestly..

Honestly what is the biggest moment in all of wrestling?

weather vane 02-15-2012 12:10 AM

Wrestlemania?

Supreme Olajuwon 02-15-2012 12:10 AM

Probably Hogan slamming Andre

Supreme Olajuwon 02-15-2012 12:10 AM

Personal choice: Foley winning his first world title

loopydate 02-15-2012 12:18 AM

"TYSON AND AUSTIN! TYSON AND AUSTIN!! TYSON AND AUSTIN!!!"

GD 02-15-2012 12:19 AM

Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit celebrating with their world championships at the end of Wrestlemania XX.

Wishbone 02-15-2012 12:24 AM

Depends on whether you mean for the individual person or for the business as a whole. If it's the latter then most likely Hogan slamming Andre as Supreme said.

Supreme Olajuwon 02-15-2012 12:25 AM

Wishbone is right you guys

Aaronp43 02-15-2012 12:26 AM

Why are the police officers hired by wrestling companies always the absolute worst at doing their jobs

They're not, wrestlers are just uber ass motherfuckers who don't take shit from nobody. :shifty:

Wishbone 02-15-2012 12:37 AM

Hogan joining the NWO was a big deal and so was Austin stunning McMahon but I don't think they're THE greatest moments.

Wishbone 02-15-2012 12:41 AM

Hey DLVH just a quick question. Are you really such a pro-wrestling 'hipster' or are you just trolling us?

Supreme Olajuwon 02-15-2012 12:44 AM

Tony Schiavone's sign off at the end of the Bash at the Beach is so wonderful

XL 02-15-2012 12:55 AM

Benoit Double Murder-Suicide

Supreme Olajuwon 02-15-2012 12:57 AM

I'm not sure that counts as a great moment dude,in
fact most accounts of the event seem to be in the terrible idea badly executed and best forgotten.

Nightwing 02-15-2012 02:31 AM

The PPV where Vader tripped coming out of the ring.

Rammsteinmad 02-15-2012 05:23 AM

Pretty sure that was on Raw.

Anyways, I couldn't possibly answer this thread because I don't think I could do it honestly.

Nicky Fives 02-15-2012 10:23 AM

probably Hogan Slamming Andre.....

Xero 02-15-2012 10:25 AM

WrestleMania being a success. If it had flopped, everything would be very different now. It birthed the modern era of wrestling.

I like how this video includes an entrance, is the entire match, has the aftermath and is only 10 seconds longer than that clip from a match.

Best moment ever.

Swish 02-15-2012 10:56 AM

Austin bringing down a beer truck, and soaking the Corporation.

Double D 02-15-2012 12:13 PM

Mike Adamle as GM.

MoFo 02-15-2012 12:20 PM

Wrestlemania 17 or Goldberg beating Hogan

Iop 02-15-2012 12:21 PM

Braden Walker's ECW debut.

you muppet

CSL 02-15-2012 02:15 PM

and not an exact "moment" but WrestleMania 1 being a success probably shaped professional wrestling as it is today more than anything else

Anybody Thrilla 02-15-2012 03:02 PM

ELIZABETH!!!.....will you marry me?

OHHHHHHHHHH YEAH!

:(

Jordan 02-15-2012 03:16 PM

When Vince McMahon Jr bought the company from his dad. That sets in motion everything you guys have said.

Mr. Nerfect 02-17-2012 10:00 AM

WrestleMania I being a success and Hogan slamming Andre are two that come to mind, historically, but not ones I was around for.

The moment I heard about being a non-wrestling fan was Stone Cold Steve Austin winning his first WWE Title from Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV. It's hard to imagine that it was almost two years after his initial King of the Ring victory that really set the wheels in motion for Austin's rise to the top. Their fandom was no doubt affected by the Austin/Tyson stuff, which has already been mentioned. Definitely deserves a place in the "Greatest Moment Hall of Fame" so to speak.
