WWE Star Kia Stevens -- My Baby Didn't Survive the Birth

WWE star Kia Stevens did not deliver a healthy baby boy on December 31st, despite what she told friends. Kia tells TMZ the child tragically died before she was able to give birth.

Kia tells us she is still devastated over the loss ... and initially lied to friends about the child being "healthy" because she was incredibly emotional and was afraid to tell the public the truth after announcing her pregnancy on live TV.

Kia says she's finally coming to grips with everything ... and wants to help other women in her situation.

"I am planning to start a foundation for women that have experienced the same thing" ... Kia says ... adding, "It's a bigger club than people think."

Kia tells us she's already organizing several events to raise awareness ... and will have information about her foundation available on her Twitter page in the near future. "





Wow, makes her appearance at the Rumble this year even more surprising. No wonder she hasn't been back.

That sucks big time well in light of this recent knews I wonder if WWE has a backup plan for Beth Phoenix as it was pretty obvious where that storyline was heading.

This is kinda beyond our discussion, I mean what can you say? Horrible news.

I think they can still do it. She randomly came back for the Rumble less than a month later. Not sure why a WrestleMania match that could be an amazing moment more her (Even more now) would be out of the question.

I've been the victim of an EARLY miscarriage myself (well she was) but I couldn't fathom carrying a baby for 9 months only to lose it at birth...shockingly bad news and my heart really goes out to her and her man.

My brother's wife had one.... Sad to hear it...

My frat brother and his wife went through this too...it devastated the entire circle of friends

Well that explains why she hasn't been back, really sad to hear!

My mom had 10 pregnancies, only delivered 3 times (for a total of 4 kids as one time was a set of twins). This happens. It's sad, but people get over this.

That's really sad news. Emotionally, I hope Kharma finds herself and some peace. Selfishly, I'd love to see her back in time for WrestleMania to challenge for the Divas Championship. Kharma is one of the few women in professional wrestling that I think has got a legitimate shot at mainstream exposure.

Kharma needs to pair up with Truth for a while, would be good for both of them

been through this myself twice and its...not easy. to say the least. and im the male i nthe situation. much harder on the women with the self blame and such...very difficult.

Wow, crazy...wonder how long it will be before she's mentally/emotionally stable enough to have her proper debut in WWE.

probably just scrapped any chances of seeing her in WWE again.....

That's kind of what I was afraid of, but I do sincerely hope we're proven wrong. She was pretty great during her TNA stint, which would make it all the much more of a shame if she couldn't or didn't return.

Yea, the fact that she told the world she was expecting in the middle of the ring could kill any chance of her being a heel. I have this grotesque vision of an arena chanting "DEAD BABY! DEAD BABY! DEAD BABY!"

What's sad is I can see some mutant crowd doing that.
