We have all kinds of rock (from growly screaming angry rock to slow country rock) . We have all sorts of hip hop and rap. We have electronic blip blop we have dance and jazz and classical. No new musical instruments except electronic were invented recently.

I think everything in music has been done. Everything done now is just a different arrangment of stuff that was done before.

I am about to release a new experimental album.

10 tracks that are each ten minutes long. Each track starts with a note and ends with a different one, played on the piano. Silence in between each note.

DreaM Theater is a good solution to sleeplesness.

I own TWO of their albums and I never listen to them after I listened to them for a couple of times because every song sounds the same and very boring. So suck on that lollipop, prog man!

Dream Theater sounds like every song is an attempt to cram an entire music theory coursebook in.

I know people are really touchy about Dream Theater, but this isn't creative. It's paint by numbers.

Besides, Dream Theater aren't the be-all-end-all of Progressive music. There's fucking tonnes of awesome stuff out there, but since nobody cares anyway, and it's "all been done before", my job here is done.
