TNA Impact Changing TimeSlots

SpikeTV and TNA Wrestling issued the following press release announcing that starting on May 31st, 2012, TNA iMPACT! Wrestling will move to 8 PM on Thursday night’s. Here is the official press release:

SPIKE TV’S “IMPACT WRESTLING” MOVING TO 8:00PM ET/PT ON THURSDAYS BEGINNING MAY 31

Spike TV’s highly-rated two-hour weekly series, TNA’s “IMPACT Wrestling” is moving to a new timeslot. On Thursday, May 31 “IMPACT Wrestling will air at 8:00pm ET/PT, moving from its previous timeslot of 9:00pm ET/PT.

The shift to 8:00pm is predicated on the fact that there are more available viewers in the 8:00-10:00pm timeslot with less sports competition in the 8pm hour.

TNA’s flagship series, “IMPACT Wrestling,” airs weekly on Spike TV and is one of the network’s top-rated series. The show is must-see-tv with young men and currently ranks among the top series on cable on Thursdays with Men 18-34.

You can bitch about us being "anti-TNA", but the fact of the matter is that your username would never have been "crimson707".

my main thing is this forum never gives TNA any Chance. Im one of the first to admit when TNA screws up which is quite often . But the shows have been great lately . Very little Hogan very little Flair no Bicshoff . The Young Stars are being pushed . They have a lot more to fix but they are changing for the better.

It could help. I can't watch because of work, but I'm sure others will be able to tune in now.

This forum gave TNA chance after chance. The fact that they have offered a marginal improvement after years of dicking people around is kind of meaningless.

I think changing its timeslot could help out a bit. So far, the Open Fight Night concept seems pretty good.

I feel like "Give it a chance" in this case means "like it". If someone doesn't like the shit TNA puts out, they just haven't given it a chance. Maybe, just maybe there are people out there who have given it a chance and... *gasp*... think it's awful.

TNA does better with the females than the WWE. I would say they do better with tag teams, but they have been slipping

I don;t think the one hour shift will make enough of a difference to compensate the extremely bad booking.....
