Best wrestler nickname ever?

In your opinion who had (or has if they still wrestle) the best nickname ever for a wrestler?

The only catch is the nickname can't be part of their actual wrestling name someone like The Rock or Andre the Giant wouldn't count while someone like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would.

Lock Jaw 07-06-2012 12:47 AM

If someone like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin counts, then obviously him. Don't think it should, since the thing pretty much became part of his name, and not just a nickname. His nickname would be "The Rattlesnake" or "The Bionic Redneck".

Tazz Dan 07-06-2012 07:35 AM

So by that logic, Bret The Hitman Hart wouldn't count either?

Tazz Dan 07-06-2012 07:37 AM

Felt the need to bump this thread. If it was an Iop thread it'd be 3 pages already, Smelly Meatball deserves better than this.

Diesel's "Big Daddy Cool".

Scott Steiner's "Big Poppa Pump" and "Big Bad Booty Daddy".

JimmyMess 07-06-2012 09:07 AM

Definitely "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

honorable mention to "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan

whiteyford 07-06-2012 09:32 AM

Always liked 'no gimmicks needed', 'the franchise' and 'mr wonderful'.

Keith 07-06-2012 09:33 AM

TBH, anytime I say "The Total Package", I smile.

It's not a bad nickname, but it's kinda funny how it just rolls off the toungue.

Big Vic 07-06-2012 09:59 AM

Hard to beat SCSA.

For the modern era though "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown had a good ring to it.....I wonder what ever happened to him.

JimmyMess 07-06-2012 10:01 AM

I can't believe I forgot this.....

"Mr. Perfect"

JKWJRMON 07-06-2012 11:20 AM

Scott Roberts 07-06-2012 11:55 AM

Anything that has to do with snakes really.

Curtis Anderson 07-06-2012 12:30 PM

"Hole in One" Barry Sanders was pretty incredible for such a silly gimmick.

Keith 07-06-2012 12:36 PM

"Mr Ass" wasn't bad.

Always thought that one was funny. Like a guy who's not great or wonderful or marvelous. He's just "Above Average". It's a very understated way to show off, like you're not confident enough in your greatness.

DLVH84 07-06-2012 02:19 PM

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams

"Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen

Curtis Anderson 07-06-2012 07:45 PM

Also, it isn't refered to as a "nickname" rather it is a "monocle"

What Would Kevin Do? 07-06-2012 08:23 PM

The Zombie Princess... Okay, not really, that one is just fucking odd.

The Immortal was pretty good though.

Godfather4Life 07-06-2012 08:39 PM

Just to elaborate a little more I used to run around my house when I was a kid pretending to be Jake The Snake's son. I used to think it was so cool that he had the same name as me, I even pretended he was my dad. After mine left anyway.

?

dingdongyo 07-06-2012 11:03 PM

i liked "the last outlaw" undertaker that lasted 15 minutes or so.

KIRA 07-06-2012 11:08 PM

For me its a toss up between Phenom and The Apex Predator

(even though phenom doesnt really lend itself to Undertaker as far as the actual definition which makes him sound more like a child prodigy than an otherworldly force but it still sounds good) sorry for short rant.

would've been interesting for Gunn to commit a serious crime during this gimmick

TheFallenOneX 07-06-2012 11:33 PM

BIG SEXY THE GIANT KILLA

Keith 07-07-2012 12:06 AM

"Sexual Chocolate" was good but in a silly way.

Curtis Anderson 07-07-2012 01:05 AM

"I Won" Billy Gunn rolls of the tongue probably better than anything.
