Best and Worst moment in RAW's history?
 

Seeing as next week is the special 1000th episode to celebrate the upcoming occasion, what is your favorite match and/or moment that ever occurred on RAW?

What is also your worst match or moment that ever occurred on RAW?

Runner-ups matches or moments are allowed but limit them to just a couple if you can.

One of my favorite moments was on Friday Nigh Raw when Mankind and Taker teamed against Hunter and Shawn and HBK split Taker open and ran off with HHH and Chyna, Unofficially forming DX.

Also the Raw where Bret and Sid worked three times all interrupted by Stone Cold.

Also Stone Cold at Pillmans house was insane at the time.

Least favorite? I usually forget this stuff quickly so I don't even know where to begin.

Best - Shane live via satellite from Nitro.
Honorable mention - The Owen tribute episode

Worst - Hornswoggle is Vince's son!
Dishonorable mention - Katie Vick (sorry, James)

I don't remember stuff well enough for threads like this. Probably something to do with DX or The Ministry though.

Some of my favourite moments:
-Sid vs. Bret Hart Steel Cage Match for the WWF Title on the Raw before WrestleMania 13, where Austin was trying to help Hart win and Undertaker was trying to help Sid win.
-Bret Hart's heel turn promo the night after WrestleMania 13.
-Bret Hart's promo about family values and starting the Hart Foundation, 8 days after WrestleMania 13.

Least favourite moment was probably any of the whole Katie Vick angle or that Donald Trump vs. Rosie O'Donnell match they had a few years ago.

Favorite moments... Bang 3:16 and the entire kidnapping leading up to it. HBK vs Cena from England is probably my favorite Raw match ever.

Least favorite moments... The Trump vs Rosie match was a pretty terrible spectacle. Also, that match where Jackie Gayda botched everything. Though that one was pretty entertaining even if it was for the wrong reasons.

Best moment: "It's me Austin! It was me all along, Austin!"

I was such a huge mark at the time and that reveal was a total surprise for me.

Worst moment: Probably Katie Vick, dunno.

Best Moment: Mankind wins the WWF Title from the Rock.

Oh yeah. Vince getting Rick Rolled during Million-Dollar Mania, not knowing how to dial, etc. Pretty awesome. Also, the random stage collapse to end it. lol

Mae Young might has well given birth to a golden hand guys lets get real.

Also, fuck those two years where Triple H raped not only dead people but everyone watching.

I have several favs but here's 2 off hand. The waltman / bret match, and the first waltman / hall match

(mainly because droz CLEARLY pushes hawk).

Dishonorable mention: the raw where david arquette guest hosted... Brought back the HORRIBLE memories of his WCW stint.

Loved Mankind winning the WWF title, Nation trapping Chyna before HBK saved her. Also liked the ending of Raw after Y2J was fired Kurt Angle came out and destroyed Cena, and the Nexus debut.

Worst: pretty much all of the Guest GM stuff, Jerry Springer segment, Johnny Damons Secret santas, etc

Worst: That one the Miz was in.

Couple of honorable mentions would be the Punk shoot, Jericho's debut and Stone Cold with the beer truck.

Was pretty much going with this...except I'd also mention the Austin beer truck to the Rock/McMahon as a mention for best moment and having the Mae Young "birth" as the worst.

Best Moment: Bret Hart interferring in a match between Owen Hart and British Bulldog, talking to the two of them, reconciling with them, and reforming The Hart Foundation.

Worst Moment: Oh, so many. Probably that "Donald Trump" vs "Rosie O'Donnell" match.

Or "Barack Obama" vs "Hillary Clinton".

I don't know who thought either of those two "matches" were entartaining, but they made me cringe. It was probably Vince trying to get the mainstream media's attention, but still.

Best: Jericho's debut.
Ruuner Ups: Debut of the Nexus, "This is Your Life" with the Rock, Jericho's "It Never Happened" title win, and ECW first time showing up on RAW.

Worst: Hornswoggle as both a son of Mr McMahon and later the Anonymous GM.
Runner Ups: JR joining the Kiss My Ass club

DX's Fourth of July party
Umaga beating the hell out of the Jackass crew

Least Favorite Moments (modern, excluding matches):
HBK becoming JBL's employee
Anything John Laryngitis

I totally forgot the Nexus debut. I don't know if that's a testament to my poor memory or the fact that they so spectacularly bungled that angle that it overshadowed one of the greatest RAW moments ever...

Was the Hornswoggle thing that bad? Some of you act like Vince McMahon pissed on your grandmother's grave. Was it stupid? Yes. Was it offensive and pure wretched evil? No.

Best Moment: Pillman 9mm...

Worst Moment: Billionaire Ted's Rasslin Warroom.

If people are honestly rating anything with Hornswoggle as being the worst moment in history, then their bullshit detectors are severely out of sync.

Best: The Hart Foundation reforming, Mankind winning the championship for the first time, Jericho's debut... I also can't remember the context for the last one, but I remember Austin stunning about 10 people or so as they were all waiting around for their turn. That was hilarious to me.

Worst: Katie Vick. Without a doubt. I can take a lot as a wrestling fan before I'm ashamed of being one, but the Katie Vick thing is something that I can't even defend as being "dumb fun".

My issue with Hornswaggle is this: Finlay got COMPLETELY torpedoed when he got saddled with the Little Bastard. It took a while, but that's what ended up happening.

bests: Nexus debut, punks shoot last summer, dx as the n.o.d, the start of the wcw/ecw invasion angle
worsts: anything involving mae young, anything involving michael cole wrestling, sabus jump off of the old raw set onto security guards in which he nearly killed everyone

Best: Austin's first Stunner on McMahon.

Worst: Katie Vick

I just found the clip where Austin stuns everyone. It was on Sunday Night Heat. He was still stunning people as they went off the air.

Worst: Benoit Tribute episode. Not in execution but in hindsight.

I can't pick a number one favourite moment so here's a few:

Triple H interfering Test and Stephanie's wedding (my earliest vivid memory of Raw and it was great)
Jericho winning/not winning the title from Triple H
Kane's unmasking
Eric Bischoff's court trial which lead to his firing
Live sex celebration
Vince and Shane's "Oh when the Saints come marching in" entrance
Cena vs HBK in London
Nexus debut

and so much more that I could be here all night...

Worst moment:

Little people's court (the one time the family is in the room whilst I'm watching Raw, this episode is on. I just remember horrific cringing all the way through.)
