I was coming on here to say how the Cesaro/Christian match made Cesaro look like a beast.

Yeah, Christian hasn't been good in ages. His wrestling's fine but his character is boring. Claudio is amazing though

Cesaro looked better in the loss than he has in any of his squash victories. Christian has been solid ever since he came back from TNA. His character as a babyface is totally neglected but the same could be said about 90% of the roster.

That's because he's amazing, and can actually have great, competitive matches. A good back and forth match usually makes a guy look better (unless they're not a good wrestler, which is when the weaknesses are exposed, which is where you might see a problem with Ryback.)

Christian should be a dominant fixture in the upper midcard/IC Title scene ala Jericho before the main event push.

I agree. He has the talent to pull this off as an upper-card gatekeeper much like Razor Ramon in the mid-1990s and Ric Flair in 1997 (who put over Eddie Guerrero as a credible holder of the then-prestigious U.S. Title).

Christian is a fantastic worker and an entertaining personality. I like that he's back to being a babyface, because it's rare to find a worker who can pull off being a face as well as Christian. As a slimy heel he works, too, but it's just a case of the character not really fitting in anywhere at the moment.

I wish Christian's Intercontinental Title reign last longer. I think the dude is a great choice for workhorse mid-card champion. I could see Cesaro becoming US Champion and feuding with Christian, though, which would be awesome. I'd love to see the crazy shit Cesaro and Christian could do with a ladder.

I dunno. We've seen him in the M.E./W.H.C. scene recently, and I don't think there's any reason they couldn't push him back there before the year is out instead of having him contend for US and/or IC titles.

I'm not sure how I feel, but I will say that I quite enjoyed the match with Cesaro. That super European uppercut was bad ass.

Christian is a great person to put the new people over he had his spotlight and won't be as good as edge they can still keep him in upper mid card so he can be put in high profile multi man matches to put people over

As much as I liked him as a heel, he does things in his matches as a face to kinda play with the crowd that are awesome. Kinda like how Piper wrestled differently as a face than he did as a heel. Christian just has that connection with the crowd that is rare in wrestling lately.

I was really surprised to see Damien Sandow walk over Christian so easily on RAW. I know Sandow is amazing and all that, but man -- Christian got steam-rolled!

I have a feeling that Christian might help Santino Marella successfully defeat Antonio Cesaro on the SummerSlam pre-show, and then we might get Christian and Cesaro in a pre-longed feud.

One thing that is bizarre about face Christian is that he very rarely talks. Have you noticed that?
