we take a wrestler and score him 1-10 on the following criteria. And then give him a total score.

In ring ability/move set: 5 never saw him go outside his comfort zone
look/physique: 10 couldn't deny his build finisher: 10 loved the plunge on the mic: 4 could barely understand a word character development: 5 found his character depth and range to be limited total score: 34 for Ahmed, higher than i thought i'd rank him & then discuss your thoughts and feelings for Ahmed for Joe's sake |

In ring ability/move set: 2
look/physique: 7 finisher: 9 on the mic: EAT A REEF! 5 character development: 6 Total: 31 |
Ring moves: 7 (could lift into almost any type of slam but didn't use any bridging suplexes or the like... few moves in which he left his feet)
Physique: 8 (jacked like a power lifter in WWE but became obese by the time WCW signed him following several injuries) Finisher: 9 (the Pearl River Plunge was never kicked out of but was difficult to set up) Promo ability: 6 (had a thick accent but compensated with intensity ala Ultimate Warrior) Character depth: 7 (would have been higher if there had been a better build for his 6-week heel turn in which he joined the Nation in summer 1997 and then left to resume face status) Overall: 7.4 (37/5) Hmm, I scored him higher than Dusty Rhodes (6.6). I'm beginning to agree that perhaps this scoring system isn't the most reliable, but I cannot think of an actual improvement. Props for trying! |

Today we go with Ahmed Johnson
In ring ability/move set: 3 look/physique: 5 finisher: 8 on the mic: 1 character development: 2 |
In ring ability/move set: 6, he did have some solid agility for a 300 lb+
look/physique: 8 when he was in the E, 3 when he was in WCW finisher: 8 Tiger Driver was a great finisher, he had good top rope leg drop he used too before he when to the WWE on the mic: 2, horrible promos. It's kinda funny because he's from Houston and when you hear him in shoot interviews he sounds like a regular guy. character development: 5, didn't really have much versitility, but then again didn't need it 29/ 50 |
In ring ability/move set: 5
look/physique: 8.5 finisher: 8.5 on the mic: 1 character development: 3 |

Now we don't # |
The guy had an awful scissor kick, always looked like he did it with the wrong leg. I've been watching Raw from 97 and you can't argue the guy was very over. Some how.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate Ahmed Johnson a WWF WAR Zone.
|
he was a pimp... not to be confussed with "he was pimp"
he was a violent pimp who beat women between his WWF and WCW run. he gets a zero, all I've heard was he was a stiff green women beater. Edit: I was just getting old Raw's from WWF for my mini-me god son and they had a backstage interview with him in 1997, Vince was talking to him about the NOD. He said something along the lines of "you wanna make a gang to fight me farooq, I'm IN A GANG!!!" as Vince awkwardly cut the scene. |
I enjoyed his work in the ring. Pretty good power guy with a great look and a sweet finisher. Couldn't really cut a promo, though.
|
Ahmed Johnson was the Bobby Brown of the WWF, therefore, everything is 10
