The Undertaker's shit stain...I mean STREAK, is highly overrated
Only lately has he gained relevence with his streak. Didn't they only recently started acknowledging that his streak as something important?
But what irritates me is the fact that there's a possiblity that his streak will be kept IN TACT when he retires. Why? What good does it serve having his streak alive? To satisfy his ego? Fuck him. He thinks he's still the top dog? Get over yourself, Mark. And take your MMA gloves with you LOL Look at his feud right now with Punk. Punk is carrying this whole thing while "Mark" is just coasting. Hell, Paul Bearer is carrying more weight than "Mark" right now. The crowd's reaction is pretty meh to this whole feud. It doesn't have the same hype as previous feuds over the streak, which means "Mark" should be stepping it up. He needs to bring his A-GAME. C'mon, "MARK" If there's any decency left in "Mark", which I do think that he knows what he's doing. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he will retire once the streak is over. ps- lol "Mark" is just a "mark" for himself lol. |
It shoulda been Taker vs Virgil vs The Miz in a battle of Rasslemania streaks match. Which would end in a no contest when Taker and Miz won't stop attacking Virgil for some reason.
|
filthy nigger don't deserve rasslemania moment!!!
|
Undertaker sucks now. Punk should end the streak but he won't b/c Vince is a faggot for Taker. A big flaming gay.
|
I think the streak started being brought up from WM 21 onwards. He also ALLEGEDLY offered Kane and Orton the chance to end the streak, but they both declined.
|
They declined or did Vince make them? Remember, Vince is the higher power
|
Yeah right Vince was just the puppet. The real higher power was Mideon.

I also vividly remember Undertaker counting each win with his fingers after he beat Ric Flair. |

imposibru!!

Yeah.....Punk is pretty horrendous. He needs to be with Taker because Punk doesn't draw, except with the obese.

How is it that an older poster can get away with a thread like this making an ass of himself, but if a newer poster makes it he gets flamed to hell and back? You know what fuck that shit. Fuck you Naitch, stop calling him Mark like it makes you cool or edgy to use his real name. :foc:
The streak means more then any title in WWE right now. -IF- someone ends it they're set for life, and I honestly think Taker would be more then happy to give the streak to someone if someone "worthy" came along. |
+1 Wishbone.
|
We forgive Naitch because he is usually high on coke.
|
The streak is overrated. I mean, respect to the Undertaker and all, but I want it to end, just because I hate this universal law that it has to stay intact. And I just wanna see the awesome moment it will be when someone beats him at Wrestlemania, and seriously can't think of anyone I'd rather see do it than CM Punk.
Except, maybe Chris Jericho. :D |

Jim Ross mentioned Taker's streak during his WrestleMania 13 match with Sycho Sid.

this scripted streak in a scripted sport sure carries a lot of scripted weight. protect it at all costs.
|
don't ever use it to put someone over. this streak is important to whether the undertaker is a legend or not.
|
So, Mr. the dial, are you suggesting that the STREAK
may be as important as life itself, given the serious nature of the business of the STREAK? |
if the streak ends, professional wrestling as we know it ends, yes. THERE WILL BE NO MORE WRESTLING TO BELIEVE IN ANYMORE!
|
to clarify, fuck the streak.
|
So it's gonna be worse than dec 21, 2012 only real?! Oh noes! The streak must never end!
|
Is this serious business because CM Punk is the opponent this year and people are butt hurt about the Rock ending Punk's streak? Just checkin'
The scripted streak in the scripted environment DOES matter, and matters because it has been script-fed down viewers throats. Kinda like Punk's streak wasn't a big deal until they started mentioning it. As big of a deal as the streak has come to be, whoever is scripted to end the script of the streak will be scripted into greatness for the rest of scripted entertainment time, like it or not. I am a Taker fan, but it's time to pass the buck and create a future scripted superstar. #scripted |
The steak is awesome. WWE was lucky to accidentally have this draw fall into their laps and be a huge part of the last 5 WMs. Ever since 2009, the streak has been a huge selling point for Mania and has produced some classic matches.
It's one thing to be on the WrestleMania card, but to be on it 20x and to go over 20x is amazing. It's a tribute to Taker's great career to be able to adapt to the times and stay relevant and over (and healthy) for as long as he has. When (or IF) the time is ever right for it to happen, then end the streak. But until then, milk this cash cow and create as many classic Mania matches as possible until Taker wants to hang it up. Ending the streak "just because" would be throwing money out the window. 99.9% of the audience loves it, and loves seeing Taker defend it every year. I don't see a problem..? |

Taker has always been one of the most professional guys in the company, always willing to do business, always willing to put the younger talent over. He's the most respected guy in the locker room, the one guy I've never heard a single guy badmouth. If the streak continues, it won't be because he has an ego on it. It will be because WWE doesn't want it to end.
Just because the audience has been lukewarm to this angle doesn't mean that Taker or Punk aren't over. It means that WWE couldn't write a program with two of the most talented workers of all time until Paul Bear kicked off. Says more for the piss-poor booking within the WWE. And overrated? Just making it to 20 Wrestlemania matches is an accomplishment. And streak or no, to consistently have one of the best matches on the card every year is absolutely staggering. |
what's the story wishbone?
