WTF?!?!? Judgement Day SOLD OUT?!?!?!?
Judgment Day sold out, but more tickets will become available
Judgment Day, this Sunday at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, is now officially sold out. However, you still have a chance to see this SmackDown! extravaganza in person! Once the set, stage, ring, lights, etc., are put into place, seats will become available! Be sure to check with the STAPLES Center Box Office leading up to the show, and on the day of the show, for your chance to purchase these last-minute tickets. If you are unable to get tickets, be sure to watch Judgment Day live on pay-per-view. For more information, visit JudgmentDay.WWE.com. http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1252699 :nono: |
Hey I would still probably still go despite the weak card, as long as my tickets weren't too expensive.
|
I'd go just to see Taker and Rico (and maybe like three other people)
|
It's not sold out. Local stations have been saying all week that "select tickets" would be available.
|
The only reason I'd even consider going to this PPV is for the Cena/Dupree match. As much as I like JBL's character, I think the match will be subpar. Billy Gunn, Hardcore Holly, and SmackDown divas have no business being on Pay-Per-View. And don't get me started on Jacqueline...

From 1wrestling:
"WWE.com says Judgment Day is "officially sold out", but the website says "Once the set, stage, ring, lights, etc., are put into place, seats will become available!" A quick check with TicketMaster.com found plenty of good seats available, including in sections not impacted by the "set, stage, ring, lights, etc". Tickets are available in every price category, including the $300 seats (Row 5 still available). It's possible to still get up to six seats together in the $90 price level (Row 13), and up to ten seats together in the $20 price level. An operator at the Staples Center told us "We've got plenty of good seats". To order tickets online, visit Ticketmaster.com" |
When there's still FRONT ROW SEATS Available, that's sad.
|
Apparently there were 1000 seats still available when they announced the sell out.
|
I can smell their pants burning...
This is pretty sad. I mean, they almost always pretend they've sold out, but never to the extent of trying to market it as a gimmick. :nono: |
**two nights ago, Jim Cornette gathers all his OVW talent ina secret mmeeting**
Jim: He everyone...good news. You guys have been doing such a great job that we're sending y'all on a trip! Roster: YAY! Jim: We're goin somehere beautiful..a vacation paradise!!! Roster: Yay! I'm surprized anyone is going to this "PPV" Not the sort of show where I would sit down with a big box of pop corn and watch. Looks to me as if all of these matchs are going to turn Judgement Day into one big crap-fest bar Cena vs Dupree.
|
I just repped you PureHatred.
It's really sad... they used shady tactics to make the Wrestlemani buyrate higher than it actually was (they divided total profit by $44.95 instead of the $49.95 the PPV actually cost). They're really desperate if they're going to just blatantly lie though. They should hire me as a consultant. I'll make a little bit of money for the week it takes for me to be fired for suggesting things Vince doesn't support. |
 sold out...they would have to sell their souls for that
|
Well, I could see where they'd have a point. The WWE has this weird thing of not planning how much space their set and ring will take up in an arena until the very last minute, so they would be able to squeeze in a few more people depending on what they are going to use as a set this time. Normally, all Judgment Days have been treated as "throwaway" PPVs for the WWE. They've become just as much of a joke as the King Of The Ring became (remember last year, or the mess of 2002) in it's dying days. It's not that much of a surprise that they throw a card together just to have one when you do consider that.
I don't think this PPV will do THAT badly. It does has some good things on the card (Book vs. Taker, and Cena vs. Dupree), and you have Eddie Guerrero carrying a Title match (remember the pudding), and that's always a plus, even with JBL as the carried (we may be halfway surprised at that one, though I'm doubting it). And it's a PPV, notherless, as PPVs usually sell-out (although never a guarantee). I'll be surprised if the buyrates are high, though. |

Actually, the fuzzy math was probably an ass-saving technique employed by the guys who would be fired for giving Vince the bad news. |

They're saying that they've sold out all available tickets, and you'll have to wait for these spillover tickets. i don't doubt they could release more tickets, but since there are currently tix available (As close as row 6), the point's moot. I doubt Judgement day will sell out and necessitate the overstock seats. On the other hand, if it was near enough, I'd prolly go just so I could have been up front at a televised wrestling event. |
If it's really sold out then there's going to be a hell of a riot after the show.
|
The LAPD policemen would have to work overtime... pity for them :(
|
They knew the risks when they signed up. The people I feel sorry for are the poor saps who the LAPD are gonna beat down over a sucky card.
|
I will ask the LAPD to bring along scrabble and i will play with them, cuz it would be that damn boring.
