Alex Riley is an abortion

Jesus fucking christ.

screech 11-14-2013 07:31 AM

He's way better on commentary than Miz.

screech 11-14-2013 07:32 AM

as a face, anyway. I don't like face Miz.

XL 11-14-2013 07:34 AM

What's bought this on? He wasn't even ruining NXT this week.

Innovator 11-14-2013 09:45 AM

The man of many talents.

-He eliminated himself by accident during the '11 Rumble before he was supposed to go.

-He attacked the wrong people during the NXT season 2 finale.

-He's horrible at commentary, like the time when the Miz was horrible at commentary.

The Rogerer 11-14-2013 09:48 AM

I thought you liked abortions

Bad News Gertner 11-14-2013 09:55 AM

XL 11-14-2013 09:57 AM

Ah.

Shadrick 11-14-2013 11:11 AM

I read this as "Alex Riley had an abortion."

I was like "he's killing something else other than ratings now?"

HA, I'LL BE HERE ALL WEEK FOLKS!

MoFo 11-14-2013 12:16 PM

I liek his music, but it doesnt get played b/c he always gets jobber entrances.

Rollermacka 11-14-2013 12:35 PM

I like Alex Riley but it seems like he's "just another good looking solid worker" I can kinda see where there really isn't a "place" for him on the roster in his current state. I think he would fit well in an "odd couple" tag team with someone like Rusev. They can do vignettes with Riley trying to "refine the beast" eating in restaurants, picking up chicks, buying him clothes.

He also sandbagged Cesaro on his stalling gutwrench suplex, but Cesaro is so damned strong he hit the move anyway.

#1-norm-fan 11-14-2013 05:24 PM

I've been saying this for YEARS.

He's got a good "heel jock" look to him. However, when he's in the ring or on the mic he seems like he's got mental problems.

XL 11-14-2013 05:47 PM

I still want to see him paired with Swagger as a pair of jocks, with JR as their "Coach".

Shadrick 11-14-2013 06:39 PM

heh, remember when he was the next big Face on RAW?

Anybody Thrilla 11-15-2013 01:05 PM

Team Awesome with The Miz as leader and Chris Masters and Alex Riley as his lackeys would have been a great stable. Letterman jackets and all.

Evil Vito 11-15-2013 03:47 PM

After NXT Season 2 I wanted to see Alex Riley, Husky Harris, and Titus O'Neil in a jock/bully stable. They'd administer swirlies, nipple twisters, and flat foots to most of the undercard roster.

DrCrawford 11-15-2013 04:57 PM

I like Riley far more than the Miz.

#1-norm-fan 11-15-2013 08:07 PM

The Miz has actually shown the ability to cut a non-cringeworthy promo.

They both have the ability to put me to sleep when they show up on the TV

FourFifty 11-17-2013 12:31 PM

Alex Riley could be a decent lackey heel, but as a stand alone face or heel, yea, the dude is even plainer than vanilla.

The Strappin' Jock Straps vs. The Union Jacks would be a great feud.

Mr. Nerfect 12-10-2013 07:21 PM

I like Alex Riley. He's not the best in the ring and often gets lost (hardly the worst of all-time, though), but he's got so much fucking charisma. Some of his segments leading to and just after his face turn were intense.

I also don't hate his commentary. He's got a long way to go, but he's again far from the worst. I liked his work with Byron Saxton and Renee Young.
