It's because they only show the beginning of Nitro for the Monday Night War's Final Night. This was the opening of Raw at the 9 o'clock hour.

Kinda shocked it took 20 posts to get around to this question.

Jeff still owns some of TNA. I don't think he can do that and join WWE.

I work midnights, so I was asleep at the start of this, otherwise I would have been all over this like Taker707 at a playground.

And not every taker707 post is as easy to make jokes about as his last one before this...

Pretty amazing that he still posts here. He even seems to know better than to stick around to discuss the things he posts about. What can he possibly get out of it when he just gives us a story and leaves without discussion??

According to the dirtsheets, Jarrett is in the process of partnering up with Toby Keith in order to start a new wrestling company.

If he manages to keep it fucking simple, it might work. Jarrett should give Raven a call and get him on board as a booker. I'm not sure what sort of money Jarrett has access to, but if he could get Jim Ross and Matt Striker to do commentary for it, that would be tremendous. He should angle for a big time investor -- not that there are too many big-time free agents out there, but just so that they can provide the shows they want to and get a good television deal, etc.

Why and when did AJ styles leave TNA?

Did they actually let his contract expire or did he get out of it after they couldn't come to terms on a new contract?

Contract doesn't expire until about another 2 weeks but been a bunch of conflicting reports about him actually leaving or not.

The signs appear to be him staying but at a way lower offer than originally given by TNA but higher than he'd get anywhere else. TNA lowballed him by a lot once they found out the WWE only offered around a third of what he makes in TNA.

I know Japan isn't what it once was, but he could make a killing in Japan and the indies making his own shots without getting shit on by TNA every 6 months.

Take the WWE money, become a big shot, and then get paid by the WWE.
