Jarrett is gone.

Jeff Jarrett just tweeted the following:
On December 22nd, 2013 I officially resigned from TNA Entertainment. Thanks to everyone involved for all the fantastic memories! #grateful

Heisenberg 12-23-2013 02:48 PM

is that the American BadAss version of Taker? Or was he too arsed to get in his garb?

MoFo 12-23-2013 02:50 PM

What role did he even have, I havent seen him on TV for a couple years anyway.

I had no idea he was still there.

This kind of feels like rats leaving a sinking ship, for some reason. As if he doesn't want to hear THIS again...

Heisenberg 12-23-2013 03:43 PM

Double J primed for Rumble action, he points at a lot of things so it could throw off people's predictions, this is grave

Mr. Nerfect 12-23-2013 03:59 PM

This is certainly bizarre. I wonder what is next for Double J? Stranger things have happened than a WWE return.

Heisenberg 12-23-2013 04:01 PM

OP is not going to entertain anyone in here is he?

Delay of game for sure

that was a sad day in wrestling history. if jeff is leaving tna is screwed hogan killed another company.

Mr. Nerfect 12-23-2013 04:25 PM

Do you think Jarrett has the brains to get another wrestling promotion up to scratch to help light a fire under TNA's ass?

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-23-2013 04:29 PM

He was never the booking genius his father was. It was his Jerry's company. I don't think so.

Maybe Vince has forgotten about the extortion.

Anybody Thrilla 12-23-2013 04:32 PM

Hold on...does this mean I won't get to see Karen anymore? This is the worst Christmas ever.

I do not remember this

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-23-2013 04:48 PM

It's because they only show the beginning of Nitro for the Monday Night War's Final Night. This was the opening of Raw at the 9 o'clock hour.

Vastardikai 12-23-2013 04:49 PM

Very first segment of the Raw after Vince bought WCW. There was a huge Running joke about GOONNEE on RSPW...

screech 12-23-2013 08:07 PM

I may need new pants if Double J returns at the Rumble.

Lock Jaw 12-23-2013 08:13 PM

Jeff Jarrett is obviously fighting The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

How many little girls did you touch today?

Black Widow 12-23-2013 11:29 PM

Seems strange this happens around the same time Aj Styles leaves.

Lock Jaw 12-23-2013 11:31 PM

Jeff Jarret vs. AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Winner fights Sting.

Kinda shocked it took 20 posts to get around to this question.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2013 02:34 AM

Jeff still owns some of TNA. I don't think he can do that and join WWE.

I work midnights, so I was asleep at the start of this, otherwise I would have been all over this like Taker707 at a playground.

#1-norm-fan 12-24-2013 09:12 AM

And not every taker707 post is as easy to make jokes about as his last one before this...

Pretty amazing that he still posts here. He even seems to know better than to stick around to discuss the things he posts about. What can he possibly get out of it when he just gives us a story and leaves without discussion??

Could Taker707/mw3 be Ryan Clark!?!?!

Mr. Nerfect 12-24-2013 09:17 AM

Would love to see Jeff Jarrett and AJ Styles end up in some sort of new promotion. Or maybe a focused version of the NWA. I'm just pipe-dreaming and spit-balling here.

Heisenberg 12-24-2013 09:18 AM

He just posted a story from the dirt sheets and left, I try and respond when I make threads.

I also put my privates in rightly aged females as well so that might be the rift.

He is acting like he is DLC and we have to unlock his love.

Getting on Raven Reaper status of not knowing how to interact.

XL 12-24-2013 03:25 PM

I'd be pretty "stoked" to have Jarrett turn up at the Rumble.

Emperor Smeat 12-26-2013 02:40 PM

According to the dirtsheets, Jarrett is in the process of partnering up with Toby Keith in order to start a new wrestling company.

#1-norm-fan 12-26-2013 04:46 PM

lol. Alright, let's try this again...

Mr. Nerfect 12-26-2013 06:51 PM

If he manages to keep it fucking simple, it might work. Jarrett should give Raven a call and get him on board as a booker. I'm not sure what sort of money Jarrett has access to, but if he could get Jim Ross and Matt Striker to do commentary for it, that would be tremendous. He should angle for a big time investor -- not that there are too many big-time free agents out there, but just so that they can provide the shows they want to and get a good television deal, etc.

Ruien 12-26-2013 09:27 PM

Why and when did AJ styles leave TNA?

James Steele 12-26-2013 09:43 PM

Did they actually let his contract expire or did he get out of it after they couldn't come to terms on a new contract?

Emperor Smeat 12-26-2013 10:36 PM

Contract doesn't expire until about another 2 weeks but been a bunch of conflicting reports about him actually leaving or not.

The signs appear to be him staying but at a way lower offer than originally given by TNA but higher than he'd get anywhere else. TNA lowballed him by a lot once they found out the WWE only offered around a third of what he makes in TNA.

James Steele 12-27-2013 12:54 AM

I know Japan isn't what it once was, but he could make a killing in Japan and the indies making his own shots without getting shit on by TNA every 6 months.

Ruien 12-27-2013 08:42 AM

Take the WWE money, become a big shot, and then get paid by the WWE.
