I was always disappointed about how these 'edgy' wrestling feds would basically book guys to get turned inside out, but the women were given special preference to hit high spots their male opponents would usually block against when done by other guys.

Let's take the hurricanrana for example. A guy who typically counters it into a powerbomb when some 220-lb. guy tries will fall to it when a 150-lb. woman does it. These 'special physics' of male wrestlers being at half power or whatever makes me wonder what the point of most intergender matches could be.

That situation has improved. Beyond Wrestling has more competitive matches. See Chris Dickinson versus Addy Starr as an example of a realistic feud that recognizes most fans don't want to see great male wrestlers watered down so they can try and make the women wrestlers look good.

My first fantasy intergender matches that come to mind:

Randy Savage vs. Chyna

Ken Shamrock vs. Chyna (Lion's Den Match)

Jerry Flynn vs. Madusa (In The Block Match)

Tank Abbot vs. Mona, Gorgeous George, and Madusa (handicap match that almost turns into a shoot)

Chris Jericho vs. Stephanie McMahcon (Paddle on a Pole Match)
