Undertaker is the only one that seems to have really worked.

Papa Shango could have worked. Plus, the Boogeyman vignette's were terrifying but the booking was woeful afterwards.

Dustin Rhodes "Seven" gimmick. Lasted all of however long it took him to get to the ring that first appearance, so maybe less than a minute.

Did it have potential? Nope.

No wires ladies and gentlemen, absolutely no wires!

Also based on that promo I'm guessing Seven was supposed to be a child molester.

Swiss Ultimate 03-16-2014 11:00 PM

Did Seven actually wrestle? I can't find anything more than that.

In that order. Dustin did the entrance, then proceded to shit all over the gimmick (and Goldust by extension, he said a line about having a "closet full of gold outfits") in an in-ring promo right after, which the screencap is from. He pretty much wrestled as himself for a couple weeks, then was shuffled off TV because WCW.

"So, they dress me up like Uncle Fester..."

And, to answer the question, the closest thing right now is Bray Wyatt. And he could cross that line, if they do it slowly and carefully. Actually, that would be with anyone they try it with. Even Undertaker didn't have "demonic powers" from the get go.

The lightning show was ridiculous.
