What do you think about The Miz?
 

Sure he got off to a shaky start, but he really seems like a student of the game, and he's been playing his current character REALLY well. He's got great promo skills, and his matches are actually quite good, but it seems that not many people give him the credit I feel he deserves.

We'll call this a litmus test. What do you think about The Miz?

Miz should be i n the title scene the shit he is doing now is just dumb.

His legacy will always be that his WrestleMania main event pissed CM Punk off to become the best WWE Champion of all time. Michael Cole is the real reason he got over.

I dunno, it may be a little over the top, but I think he's playing his role very well. Also, it created Mizdow, so I can't be mad about it.

His run with The In Crowd was absolutely fantastic. The Dirt Sheet was super fun. He had one of my favorite US title runs of all time. Even though it was a ripoff of Jerishow, ShowMiz was a lot of fun. His ascension to the WWE title was awesome to me, and his promos were off the charts at the time. The Awesome Truth was great....

I mean, that's his legacy to me.

Miz and Morrison were before those teams.

The In Crowd was Miz and Morrison's name, I thought. That was the first thing I mentioned.

Regardless of their name, they were hosts for that DVD about the greatest tag teams of all time. That's saying something.

I'm a big Miz fan. Even more so after meeting him, he's really polite and has a passion for the business in his voice when he talks about it. I'd love to see him in the main event scene again, his feud with Cena was one of Cena's better in the last few years, IMO.

No some guy here kept saying it was their name and I tried to tell him that they didn't have one. He refused to believe me and kept using it. Forgot who it was. Maybe it was you? Don't remember.

I meant that they weren't ripoffs of Jerishow etc because they were a tag team before Jerishow and etc.

I thought he was actually Awesome from sometime during his run with Morrison right up until his feud with Alex Riley. Thought he was a great heel, and would continue to be a "top heel" for a long time to come.

Then they just stopped caring about him, he got lost in the shuffle, eventually turned face (which he was terrible at being), got lost in the shuffle some more....

Then came back with his current shtick. I admit that when he first returned, before Jericho interrupted, I was kind of hoping for a return of big time serious heel threat The Miz.... but he is doing gold in his current more light-hearted heel run... getting a guy like Sandow, who I was never really into, and turning him into a star.

Maybe switching to OK. Really disliked his face run.

Yeah, terrible face run, but they didn't really give him much to do.

He once called Team Rhodes Scholars the Pink and the Stink.

He meant ShowMiz was a ripoff of JeriShow.

I have a soft spot for The Miz and would love to see him as a viable contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I also wouldn't mind him as a strong mid-card heel champion.

He works really hard and is all-round good. I'm happy he's made a great career out of things, but I just don't get "excited" for his stuff like I used to. I'd like to see him in a hot program, but I just can't think of what one would be. Maybe something with Sami Zayn or another of the NXT 5?

I was going to point that out, but he probably still won't understand :'(

Voted awesome. The guy's the goods. He has a great look, mic skills, and his in-ring skills are pretty tight. I mean, he's no technical master like Cesaro or Bryan, and in fact more-often than not he relies solely on the "basics", but he's a solid hand in the ring and can hold his own with anyone.

He has the potential to be a huge face, but the problem, as with most people, is that he's such a great heel, that being generic face #4532 just doesn't work for him.

He's a fantastic heel

Plus, the fact he made it as far as he did, when he debuted and was constantly bullied as the "reality TV" guy really shows his passion and determination for the business.

Meh. Not a huge fan....don't want to see him near the main event again.....

Love the Miz. He keeps things entertaining and is proving that he is able to play multiple heels characters instead of being 1 dimensional.

I think the term buried is used far too loosely , but in the case of the Miz, it happened so bad that I don't think anyone would take him in the main event seriously ever again. Its unbelievable when you consider he main evented a WM, and retained, against cena.

It would really take something special for him to feasibly belong in the main event again. I'm not calling for that. I just feel like he gets a lot of unwarranted hate.

He's good. Way better as a heel than as a face though. Besides Miz & Morrision, really liked his rise to the WWE title and Awesome Truth team.

Shame that his title run got overshadowed by Rock-Cena stuff and still hasn't fully recovered in status since getting the sole blame for 2011 SummerSlam's low buyrate.

In general he's okay, personally 90% of the time I don't find him entertaining but he is capable of pulling out a decent promo or match at times. I think the main problems are he often gets stuck cutting the same promo every week, and aside from the kneeling DDT spot his offense looks incredibly lame.
