Is anyone really interested? I dont get the appeal, hes old, he wrestles with a shirt on for christ sake! And this whole "OHHHHHH TRIPLE H VS STING WE KNOW YOUVE BEEN DYING TO SEE THIS!!!" ive literally never heard or read those two names together until WWE tried to feed me this BS.

Sting is going bald and it's killing the whole damn thing at times. I'm trying to get into it, but all that I got out of this is Ric Flair getting pushed to the ground and suffering a promo cut on his ass.

That and Sting pointed to the Wrestlemania sign quite a bit @ WWE Fastlane

I will say Sting's hair is bad. It looks so thin in the front. You'd think he'd get plugs ala Jimmy Hart with all that money.

He deserves one match on the grandest stage of them all.

Because he's fucking Sting. He's the greatest, longest standing homegrown star of a now dead organization that was once the pinnacle of wrestling, and he was their biggest star at the time.

If he's physically able, why not let him go out on the biggest stage possible?

Thread starter is probably about 20, so he has no idea what Sting really meant to the wrestling world. Sting was my first favorite wrestler - this was in 1998. He's one of the main reasons I kept watching and became the lifelong fan I am now.

I always dreamed of Sting's first match in the WWE as being against someone like Undertaker or Shawn Michaels. Triple H never crossed my mind. But I'm still looking forward to the match. Because it's Sting at WrestleMania - one of the last fantasy moments from the Attitude Era.

If we can just get Austin vs Goldberg, I think we'll be done.

I'm happy to at least see Sting in one match at Wrestlemania. He deserves it, and it'd be great to see what it's like to have Sting finally on the big stage.

As for the angle itself though, I've totally lost interest. I wish Sting would cut a fucking promo already. I wanna hear him address the WWE audience.

It's a stupid pet peeve to have, but if they wanted him to be a WCW symbol, would it have killed to have him keep his awesome WCW batman music? His theme is so uninspired that his entrance feels like a drag...

Nah. They should just splurge on Metallica. I mean, its fucking Sting! If they could opt rights for "The Memory Remains" for Taker/Hunter hype, they could let Sting walk to "Seek and Destroy".

I, like many others here, do wish he'd grab a damn mic. Even if WWE is content injust pretending TNA doesn't even exist, Silent Sting went out the window even before the end of WCW. Let the man promo.

The promo is coming. They'll do some sort of contract signing segment and Triple H will ramble, then Sting will say something like "Are you done?" He'll then reveal that he didn't come here to represent WCW. He came here because he loves professional wrestling. He came here because he saw Triple H abusing his power. He saw four talented in Superstars in Big Show, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan at risk of losing their jobs, all because of Triple H's ego. It was time for him to come back, because The Authority was killing professional wrestling.

Triple H will then get in Sting's face about what does he know about professional wrestling, but Sting will drop him for getting too close. Sting will sign the contract, but then something will happen that will allow Triple H to beat up Sting to get the heat heading into WrestleMania.

Or something like that.

Why does Sting "deserve" a Wrestlemania match? He was basically shitting on the company for 14 years and only finally compromised his morals when TNA got moved to public access television.

Also, yes, a fucking t-shirt. C'mon son. Bret Hart is one of my favorites of all time, but I wasn't excited to see him at Wrestlemania 26 at all.

Basically what ABT said. To me this is just another match that makes me not care to watch Mania.

I wish he came sooner to wrestle HBK. I dont think his match with hhh will be bad because hhh can carry anybody to a decent match, but hbk and sting would have been so much better.

This match is basically the only one I'll watch from Wrestlemania. Sting's a draw for sure. He's prob fat and flabby, but it'll still be sweet to see him. Helps that Triple H is the best.

I understand the feels factor that some of the older wrestling fans get from him but still hes kinda old and washed up id say, like that one dude said about bret hart, yeah he was the coolest guy around but that was during the attitude era. He isnt that sting anymore.

If he was not wrestling constantly for TNA then this may seem like a bigger deal.

I am not hot on the this program but I am pretty hopeful/certain the match will deliver. Also pretty hopeful he doesn't wrestle with a T-Shirt. I just don't see Triple H allowing that to happen. I know that sounds gay, but seriously, I wanna see a jacked up roided Stinger.

I want interference in their match by Brock Lesnar and i want him to suplex Sting 16 times and have him go out with a bang.

Lol, Sting will not be working WrestleMania if he's going to be a piece of shit. Both him and Triple H know better. The company has had Sting under some sort of deal for a while, and I guarantee he is spending most of his time in the Performance Centre, and he's spending most of his time getting as shredded as possible for that one match. He's going to be in the ring at WrestleMania and everyone is going to shit bricks.

Triple H vs. Sting is always the match I wanted to see. Taker vs. Sting was never my thing, believe it or not. I felt that they were too similar in the wrong ways and too different in the right ones. Would rather see them team than face each other.

This is an Ultimate Heel vs. Ultimate Face match. Triple H is going to get his WrestleMania XXX selling boots on, and there is no way he is going to let this match suck. We'll see some shit that surprises us, and the ring work is going to be enhanced by both psychology and by epic little nuggets that wisely work around the age of The Stinger. Eg. It really wouldn't surprise me if we see a tribute to The Ultimate Warrior and Sting gets right up after a Pedigree. The sledgehammer and the bat will come out. The fans will be rabid. Enjoy, folks.

And then Sting will win. The only difference now is that I am thinking it might be to Scorpion Deathdrop, since they haven't really introduced the Scorpion Deathlock as his finisher (although I think it will make an appearance in the match).

I also think the WWE are working us a bit. People are acting as if Sting is a guy that can barely climb between the ropes. This guy was doing a fairly regular schedule until very recently. Some of his TNA stuff may not be the most celebrated work of his career, but he did have great matches there, and you can't expect a 55 year old man to be doing **** work every night (unless he's Japanese, apparently).

Sting could, realistically, work several matches for the WWE. But we're all looking at this like it's one and done for The Stinger. I think we're in for a sleeper performance.

If you don't get why this match is a big deal and why it will be an instant classic, just quit watching because you have no fucking soul. This is the kind of match that wrestling was created for.

Hope he's on roids though, just sayin....

I don't know who would be a better fit... but HHH vs Taker, and HHH vs Lesnar bored the shit out of me.
