Wrestlemania 31 Match Order
 

Seems like a yearly thread around this time of year but haven't seen much discussion on the Topic. It seems set in stone Brock vs Reigns goes on last but how would you order the remaining matches for Sunday?

My Humble Guess...

Pre-Show
Tag Team Titles
Andre Battle Royal

IC Title Ladder Match
Orton/Rollins
Cena/Rusev
Sting/HHH
Divas Tag Match
Taker/Wyatt
Hall Of Fame Announcement
Brock/Reigns

A Few Notes:

Taker/Wyatt should happen sooner in card but put it towards end due to entrances needing to be in the dark

IC Title may go down as the best opener in Mania history alongside Bret/Owen and HHH/Bryan last year

Divas will be given a lot more time then they usually do at Mania. I'm guessing 10-12 Mins.

Rollins/Orton goes on early in card so Rollins can tease a Cash in rest of the night


What does everyone else think?

They won't be able to get the entrances in the dark no matter where they put the match. It won't be dark until around the time the show is ending.

Taker is back again? Meh. Streak is over, what's the point?

Switch the Taker/Wyatt match with Sting/HHH and maybe put it before Cena/Rusev and that would be my guess.

I have a feeling the main event will be the last match. Just a hunch.

I'd rather the Tag Title match open the main show than the IC Ladder Match. I know the Ladder Match is the popular choice, but I just think there's too much of a load to be blown there.

I can see this happening as well.


Orton defeating Rollins earlier in the evening, Lesnar destroying Reigns in the main-event (while getting cheered), and then Rollins 'cashing in' to win the title.

Won't the sun be down by 9PM?

Musical performance either happens before Cena/Rusev or as part of a larger break with the HoF stuff. Also leaning on them ditching the usual dark entrance setup for Taker and doing something similar to Mania 9.


Mania would be over by 8pm there.

6) Lesnar v Reigns
*Rollins attempts cash-in and we're treated to a 'mini-match*

7) Sting v Triple H to close the show.
