Now there's a surprise.

I wonder what's going to happen now with Battleground.

Simple Fan 06-21-2016 03:10 PM

Yay two threads. Sucks for him if it's true.

Cool King 06-21-2016 03:10 PM

Wait, I just saw the date for Battleground and I think he'll just make it.

Surprising or "breaking" news does do that.

Cool King 06-21-2016 03:12 PM

Maybe if we're lucky, we'll get a third.

Damn, must be "Double Day" today.

RiX1024 06-21-2016 03:20 PM

48 hours since losing the belt, must of hit hard on him, poor sod, save the three way dance for Summerslam

KaosDarksol 06-21-2016 03:21 PM

even if he is back for battleground it's going to be hard to build a triple threat with only 2 of the people on raw and smackdown.

Cool King 06-21-2016 03:23 PM

He'll probably appear at the event after the title match and that would be the beginning of the build up to the Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam.

Jordan 06-21-2016 03:28 PM

He ain't no John Cena.

Innovator 06-21-2016 03:34 PM

Black Widow 06-21-2016 03:44 PM

You can't wrestle

For 30 days

Cool King 06-21-2016 03:47 PM

Did Juan just merged my thread with his but is claiming my thread as his own?

harmsway 06-21-2016 03:55 PM

Conspiracy theory asks, did they know about the test before Sunday at 5pm?

Big Vic 06-21-2016 03:55 PM

Hopefully vince loses faith in him

I was thinking that too but then why not just have Rollins beat him by count out last night?

Emperor Smeat 06-21-2016 03:58 PM

Bit surprised they didn't do any advance warning for him like its always been rumored what the WWE does for their top stars or something similar to one of Orton's past suspensions where its a semi-suspension but keeps tv time I think.

Black Widow 06-21-2016 03:59 PM

Somewhere, The Rock is being handed a large bag of cash and a wig.

No, I went and made an edit to my original post and when I was done, the threads were already merged. Plz don't feed the "Juan is a horrible mod" trolls.

broverboard 06-21-2016 04:21 PM

The absence could be a good opportunity to freshen Roman up a bit.

I'd keep him off TV a while after the suspension finishes and have him return by brutalising Ambrose (who's still the champ) at the end of Summerslam. You've then got Roman as a heel feuding with the ever popular Ambrose which is something we've yet to see. Could be interesting.

Simple Fan 06-21-2016 04:21 PM

He'll miss the draft. He could be a free agent when he returns and gets to choose which show he's on. Wonder what this does for the small group of fans he does have.

When threads are merged, the one posted first automatically becomes the "original post"

I could see it if they would have not announced a highly anticipated Shield triple threat less then 24 hours ago. Just wouldn't make much sense from a business standpoint of they knew about it.

Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE knew of Roman Reigns' "wellness policy" violation in advance of yesterday's Raw and in fact, they likely knew before Sunday's PPV as well.

With Reigns being suspended for 30 days and Battleground scheduled for July 24, simple math shows that Reigns suspension would be over before the PPV. However, if he is not on TV, it remains to be seen how WWE would explain his absence, assuming they go ahead with the Triple Threat match for the title (which all signs indicate that they will). It also remains to be seen how WWE will handle Reigns involvement in the July 19 draft, though technically he doesn't need to be there for that show.
