And the 8th team for the Smackdown tournament is... [POTENTIAL SPOILERS]
Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned The Headbangers are scheduled to wrestle on next week’s SmackDown Live … and Mosh may have spilled the beans early.
Chaz Warrington revealed earlier today on Facebook that he’s been dreaming of stepping back into a WWE ring, now that his son is old enough to comprehend it, and next week that’s gonna happen. He adds, “This dream/wish will come true this Tuesday night in Dallas, Tx!!! I will be on WWE’s Smackdown Live Show on the USA Network!! Not only will he see me in ring but he’ll be able to watch it Live on TV!! This is truly a dream come true for me and I’m beyond excited!!!” Our sources tell us the popular Attitude Era tag team are set to face-off against Heath Slater and Rhyno — but plans could always change beforehand. Especially after Chaz made it public. The post has since been deleted. http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/hea...form=hootsuite |
Liked the Headbangers back then but guess the sheets really weren't joking about most past and well known WWE wrestlers wanting nothing to do with the new Brand Split because of how really low the offers were.
Tommy Dreamer for example would have lost money had he taken the WWE deal and stopped his House of Hardcore and indies stuff. |
Conway pop will be deafening

I like the Headbangers, but come on, they're no Lo' Down.
Still, it's nice as a first round jobber team for Slater and Rhyno to beat. |
I hope you didn't fuck himself over with that post. Although I guess I really don't care because I heard The Headbangers were dick heads to ICP. And I'm not even a fan of ICP

They Sucked!

Christ can we get the Godwinns instead?
|
What? It's not the Revival? Say Noooo! Nooooo!

Yeah, I want The Revival to come in later. The Headbangers would be good. If they get a nice pop and do a good job, why not keep them around?

Tournament finals should be American Alpha vs. The Usos. That tag team match will rock. Between The Usos, AA, The Revival, DIY and possibly Harper & Rowan, there is potential for this amazing tag team division in WWE across the board. Oh, they've also got TM61 in NXT, The Authors of Pain could have potential as bodyguards to a top heel, and The Shining Stars are good workers although they struggle for a gimmick. Breezango are growing into what they do too. You don't really need to keep Enzo & Cass together, although you probably should for the time being, but you could hypothetically trial them out as singles guys, as well as trying out The New Day and still not be short for tag teams. I feel like in a few months we might be in a glory age of tag teams.

Sweet. Headbangers were Tag Team Champions of the Universe waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before this "Universal Championship".
|
Breezeango is becoming one of my favorite tag teams in WWE. Knew they wouldn't advance but they put on a good match with American Alpha. They seem to click together and can be a good heel tag team.
