How many of you read Have A Nice Day?

Just curious. Let's get a headcount.

DAMN iNATOR 03-30-2017 04:25 AM

Not me. I'll be damned (no pun intended) if I'm going to let some book tell ME what kind of day to have!

Swiss Ultimate 03-30-2017 04:28 AM

Boooooooo.

That was like my wrestling Bible. Reread it a ridiculous number of times.

Big Vic 03-30-2017 05:13 AM

I've got it. Read it a few times over the years. Good book.

Not as good as Jericho's though. :p But for the time when it came out, the idea of this mad lunatic Mick Foley having a New York Times Bestseller was quite eye-opening to the non-wrestling world.

Maluco 03-30-2017 08:48 AM

Love this book. He came across so genuine and funny. His last few were stinkers, but this one was awesome.

A lot of them were done by ghostwriters and come across very cold (Goldust, Bobcore, Regal)

Enjoyed Jericho's and Guerrero's though. Enjoyed HBK's and Hart's too

James Steele 03-30-2017 10:20 AM

I've read it multiple times.

Bad News Gertner 03-30-2017 10:23 AM

First wrestling book I ever read

Destor 03-30-2017 10:23 AM

Read it when it came out

Jordan 03-30-2017 02:06 PM

Of course I read it.

As much as I love Jericho I've never had the desire to read his book.

Also the first wrestling book I ever read. It kinda ruined me for wrestling books because it was so good. I tried reading The Rock's book after and could not get into it.

#1-norm-fan 03-30-2017 04:29 PM

Still have the John Imbriani poem he wrote in high school memorized.

Juan 03-30-2017 06:04 PM

Frank Drebin 03-30-2017 06:24 PM

Lock Jaw 03-30-2017 06:30 PM

I read it when it first came out, and probably still the fastest I ever finished a book. Kind of want to read it again some day......

Yeah I've read it. Very disappointing to see what Mick has turned into, but at the time this came out he was a very interesting dude

You didn't get my post? I was joking around. Of course I've read it. Maybe not the whole thing, but a good portion of it anyway.

Juan 03-31-2017 04:28 AM

Which portion?

Can't remember exactly but probably at least about 2/3-3/4s of the way through, or so.

DAMN iNATOR 03-31-2017 07:18 PM

Swiss Ultimate 03-31-2017 07:38 PM

I read Foley's second book once.

Destor 03-31-2017 07:38 PM

I read the leaflet of war and peace at a barnes and noble. Great novel. Would reccomend.

Swiss Ultimate 03-31-2017 07:57 PM

How bad do you hate reading if you only read a part of the most beloved wrestling book ever?

Bad News Gertner 03-31-2017 10:55 PM

I looked at the cover of Foley's second book.

I give the book a solid 3 1/2 stars out of 5

Blue Demon 04-01-2017 12:02 AM

I sure did.
