is taker just gonna die in the ring?

motherfucker just wont quit.

now booked for live shows. Also shows that no one on the current roster is really worth a shit when it comes to drawing.

Big Dawg couldn't keep the Old Dog out of the yard.

mike adamle 06-24-2018 04:49 PM

Hoping to see him at WrestleMania next year have a real match with John Cena. Trying to get front row just for that

xrodmuc316 06-24-2018 04:54 PM

I am hopeful for Mania 35 vs Cena with no more after that until H.O.F. induction at Mania 36 and be retired then for good, although I wouldn't be terribly upset if he did like they did with Flair, go into the Hall but has a last match at that Mania.

erickman 06-24-2018 05:25 PM

jerry lawler still wrestles he may die again in the ring.

Mr. Nerfect 06-24-2018 05:32 PM

I don't think he'll die in a ring, but it does feel as if the window to make a graceful exit has closed.

ClockShot 06-24-2018 05:34 PM

Certainly possible if he keeps ignoring the fans' pleas to retire.

OverTaker 06-24-2018 06:10 PM

His DONG just won't quit.

Emperor Smeat 06-24-2018 06:24 PM

No but he's really pushing his luck on his health since the hip surgery was supposed to have ended his career. Even if he only shows up on occasion and/or wrestles short matches, that's still more wear and tear on his hip.

Mr. Nerfect 06-24-2018 07:11 PM

At least he can't complain if Shawn Michaels decided he wanted to come back.

Sixx 06-24-2018 07:26 PM

Every Wrestlemania should have a spot "Undertaker's Back Yet Again".

End it at like Wrestrlemania 2057.

Dude just won't stop.

Savio 06-24-2018 08:44 PM

They should just clone him already so we can go for another hundred years

Ol Dirty Dastard 06-24-2018 09:35 PM

He can only work squash matches which is kind of dumb. I'm terrified at the notion of him bumping anyways.

Lock Jaw 06-24-2018 09:38 PM

I think he has a couple of times

Rammsteinmad 06-24-2018 11:25 PM

I wonder if half the roster these days thinks the same thing but are probably all not dumb enough to say anything about it out loud.

The MAC 06-25-2018 01:16 AM

Undertaker is starting to put the NO in Nostalgia.

He talks about retirement here, he doesn't want to be "past his prime" and how he doesnt think at Hogans age he would still be wrestling, hogan was 49 at mania 18. Taker is 53 now. :shifty:

If he slowed himself down he wouldn't look half dead 5 minutes into the match, he seems to think he can still keep his old pace and he's blown up after a short time.

Stickman 06-25-2018 01:15 PM

I'm worried that he's going to hurt somebody. Sure he's strong and has old man strength but seeing him struggling to pick up guys for a last ride and even for a tombstone makes me concerned he's going to drop somebody on their head. I love Taker but he has to go.

Ol Dirty Dastard 06-25-2018 01:21 PM

with his hip I don't know why the hell he is trying to pick people up. It's just so dumb. Honestly, he has nothing to prove.

Gerard 06-25-2018 05:28 PM

He's another addition to the long line that should have retired a few years back. So far Michaels is the only one who retired while he was still very good and has stuck to it. They're all good at chirping on about "the old guys that are past it" when they're in their younger years but they all seem to fall into the same trap of either needing a pay day or craving the crowd reaction that makes them hang on much longer than they should do.

Wrestlemania 48: Undertaker vs Terry Funk in a "For-Real Retirement Match: We're Totally Serious About The Loser Not Wrestling Ever Again... maybe"

Mr. Nerfect 06-28-2018 05:25 PM

Does Taker try to pick people up? The last Taker match I saw was against Reigns. When he does the Last Ride spot, doesn't he normally get them to pummel him in the corner so he can bomb them out? I mean, he should probably stop doing even that and just quit, but does he actually try and get people up for the Last Ride still?

Sixx 06-29-2018 11:29 AM

He'll still have WM matches long after he's dead.

Every match's gonna be a casket match.

And he'll keep losing.

He has a new hip. Soon he will be Darth Taker.

Sixx 06-29-2018 11:34 AM

Half Dead Man Half Machine!

Sixx 06-29-2018 11:43 AM

Hmmm, Half Dead Man is a good nickname for Taker.

mike adamle 06-29-2018 04:47 PM

Hopefully they let him have a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura before he retires
