Roman Reigns and Robert Roode to collide in Tables Match with Royal Rumble implications

Roman Reigns and Robert Roode collide in a Tables Match for the right to choose the stipulation in The Big Dog's match against King Corbin at Royal Rumble, John Morrison returns to the ring in a matchup against Big E and Lacey Evans finally gets her opportunity to battle Sasha Banks. Also, Kane is set to reemerge on an action-packed SmackDown.

Don't usually watch SD much tbh but I will tonight. Want to see Morrisons in ring return.

Either The Fiend is a bit of a dumbass or Bray completely forgot Kane also has sppoky powers when he came up with his plan.

Also dumb to do this early in the show since now the rest of the show has to deal with a partially broken ring.

Guess someone in Creative watches AEW and wanted to beat them to the punch with having someone get whacked a lot with a belt first.

Big E fighting for not only himself tonight but also to keep SmackDown alive in TPWW Survivor.

Big E vs Morrison was very good.

Way better than last week's Kofi vs Miz match in regards to New Day's feud with the duo.

Usos vs. Revival was pretty good.

just started my recording. Was kinda hoping Kane would come back in the suit and tie as Mayor Kane lol. Either way, that was one of the better Kane promos I remember. He has a really unique delivery sometimes and he was on it tonight. Makes me think about how underrated/unappreciated he is.

Also, I dunno why, but the fact that he's interacting with Bray makes me fearful that fiend vs kane will be a headliner at Blood Money 5 (or is it 6?) and that Taker ends up interfering to save his little brother, setting up Taker v Fiend at mania.

That Lacey-Sasha-Bayley backstage segment was meh just like their feud in general has been for a while.

Also guess Smackdown now all of a sudden has a GM again.

WWE is terrible when it comes to them hiding whenever they do it.

Lacey vs Bayley match was decent but WWE is legit the laziest wrestling promotion in the world when it comes to booking and setting up title matches.

During the same show, Miz and Morrision can now claim a shot at New Day's tag titles because they beat them in singles matches 2 weeks in a row and now Lacey can do the same for Bayley's title.

Rocky Johnson tribute video was great.

Bliss vs. Deville was meh just like almost all of Bliss matches the past couple years.

Undercard for the Rumble at least from Smackdown's side looks weak.

Fiend vs. Bryan sounds great but then they added the lame strap stip and likely going to have the annoying red lights during the whole match.

I'd be surprised if Shorty G vs. Sheamus is anything but a squash match.

Bayley being stuck defending against Lacey because the women's face side for the blue brand is very dire in terms of quality.

You know what screams “Must see network TV wrestling main event”? A guy who peaked in TNA like 7 years ago.

For something meant to be a tables match, this might be one of the dumbest ever in terms of trying to actually win the match.

A ton of shenanigans and overcoming the odds booking just for it to end with a simple spear.

On the bright side, at least Reigns didn't make his match with Corbin anything dog related.

Haven't really been watching but this storyline seems good!

Yeah its actually been pretty enjoyable soo far especially compared to the garbage Lana-Rusev one on RAW.

Aren't they live?

Shorty G vs Sheamus sounds like a good match. Sheamus has some great offence that Shorty G can bump all over for. Easy story to tell.

Naw, he was better in NXT, so peaked 3 years ago if we are being fair.

They still do it from time to time. With Lacey's chants, it pretty much sounded the same the 2-3 times they did it and ended the same abrupt way each time.


Yeah, it has the potential of being good but just don't feel confident WWE will book it beyond a quick squash and maybe the same for the feud itself. Feel Sheamus' new direction for his heel character would lose its luster or impact if the feud lasts beyond the Rumble.

I watched last night and I enjoyed it for the most part. I did check out during Bailey/Lacey, I just didn't care and it was slow and boring. Also I don't care for Corbin/Roman, but it was cool to see Roode pushed to the main event match in a singles. I really liked Bryan with Kane and Bray.

So, what are the odds Kane returns to action next week and throws his hat in for the Rumble, or just shows up as a "surprise" entrant in the match?

Tbh, is there any cruiserweight more boring than Ariya Daivari? Always opens 205, never excites me. Also, Tyler Breeze just wrestled a three way on Wednesday in Orlando, why are you having him wrestle a pointless ass match against Daivari on Friday? Nobody else could benefit from a win?

And now Lio Rush is gonna wrestle? Maybe they should have done something else on NXT instead of making all these guys wrestle twice in 3 days....

What the fuck were Humberto Carillo, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, Lucha House Party, Drew Gulak, Tony Nese, and the champ Angel Garza doing this week?

Yeah Daivari has been 205 Live's most boring wrestler for a long while. He's probably the most WWE style wrestler on the brand since Enzo.

Brand itself has been completely mismanaged ever since the Draft happened and NXT moved to the USA Network. Ended up making the weekly shows a lot more boring and bland than they were before even with all of its faults. Them not pulling the trigger on Oney when he was getting hot with crowds was such a huge mistake.

All of those guys except Nese, Lucha House Party, and Garza no longer wrestle on the brand since being promoted to main roster shows.

Guess the Singh Brothers also wrestled on RAW this week and got pointlessly squashed by War Raiders.

And where are Lorcan and Burch for that matter??

Yeah and did any of them wrestle this week? Why can the Singh Brothers wrestle on RAW and 205,but none of these other guys can't?

LOL Are they seriously doing another Roman Reigns vs Corbin match at a PPV?

I've seen them on NXT in recent times, but I'm not sure if they're exclusive to it or not.

Not sure about Burch but Lorcan pretty much got punished after he asked for his release late last year and for publicly calling out Triple H after he bashed some of the roster for being unhappy in WWE to the point of going public about it.

Also may or may not have been the reason why Lio Rush suddenly became the big face star of 205 Live and got an instant title reign once he came back despite it looking like Lorcan was next in line for the title.
