I’m so used to matches being relatively competitive in AEW that Adam Cole beating Evil Uno in about three minutes really threw me off.

Why did Cole lose to OC last week if he was going for the world title...

Watched the end of SD and lol'ing about Ronda choosing Charlotte to face at WM for no reason

I know they're trying to save time, but having the title challenger being "currently in the ring" with a low energy unenthusiastic Justin Roberts introduction is not good for making the TNT title seem "equal" to the World title...

Last 5 mins of that match were really good...

Great finish to lethal vs. Starks. I really don’t get the Lethal hype but that was pretty good. Sammy Andrade will be hot shit, maybe triple threat with Darby… straight into my veins please.

I struggle with cool heels who play for crowd support so Adam Cole does not float my boat. He’s fine, I enjoy his ring work bit just something about his whole schtick being so crowd Friendly I dislike in heels. Wana see Hangman March on through him tbh but feel like Cole might win the belt.

The Adam Cole stuff has made me realize the unsanctioned matches are a joke. That match with OC was unsanctioned just for the sole purpose of handing Cole an L he can claim doesn't count after the fact. That's dumb, he lost, don't pretend he didn't, we all saw it. Stupid.

Also funny that his promo and the quick win were completely driven by the IWC chatter about him over the last week. "Oh shit, people think Cole is too small and shouldn't be a serious world title contender. Let's have him squash someone, ignore his loss, and act like he's suddenly tough and going after the title."

No.

Lethal hype... well I don't think you are going to get it with what they have done with him. He's only had brief moments to show any personality or character which I'm sure is still being developed because it's all been rushed since he got there.

He was so valuable to TNA and ROH because of his character work, consistency and believability. He's hilarious and also capable of coming off as an "elite wrestler". He really should be a focus for some big stories but I fear that if Keith Lee comes in Lethal will be forgotten.

Oh it’s more than fair to say I haven’t seen enough of Lethal to get it. The little I have seen hasn’t set the world alight for me but I have seen very little of him.

As far as Coke losing the unsanctioned match I thought it was fairly clear it’s heel 101, “I lost but it doesn’t count so shit up” I assume he will keep talking about being undefeated and Hangman or (insert face here) will bring it up.
