Thursday Night Watch-along Career Retrospective Vol. 3 Voting
 

The people have spoken and this upcoming Thursday night on the watch-along we will be reliving the career of Mabel! Last Thursday we spun the wheel and found out the 5 nominees for the 3rd career retrospective edition of the watch-along. Who’s it gonna be??? Voting is now open!

Had to go with Demolition out of principle. But I'm secretly hoping Smothers gets the nod.

Demolition suck. Most over-rated team ever.

Bossman and Abdullah would both be pretty fun. I might just wait til it’s a runaway at the end and vote Smothers just to look like a cool kid though.

lolol but I like both members individually. Always get a kick out of Crusher Darsow/Krushev and Masked Superstar.

Same here. I just found their matches very dull as a team with few exceptions.

Not going to disagree. Liked their matches with the Hart Foundation though. And I liked their presentation as a whole.

Oh, the individual stuff for Darsow will largely be Mr. Hole in One.

Both guys are also on the list individually too. I love the team but those will both be much better than the Demolition watch-along if/when the time comes.

Darrow did this concussion gimmick in late 99 on Saturday Night where he'd come out dressed as his old gimmicks lol. Krusher Khruschev, Blacktop Bully, Hole in One Darsow. It was hilarious.

Maybe it’s just because The Repo Man had similar mannerisms but I always thought Darsow would have been an excellent Doink.

After we finished drawing the names last Thursday I think we all agreed Gertner and Destor’s votes were as good as locked in.

I'd like to edit this statement to Money Inc. Demos are the second most over-rated team.

I never thought Money Inc was that highly rated.

Lol i think everyone likes the idea of money inc more than anything. DiBiase toward the end of his wrestling days really doesn’t have much to offer. And the hohumness of it all it sort of bleeds into his uninspiring managerial career.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty widely accepted that Dibiase and Rotunda did much better work on their own and Money Inc. was just a thrown together team who over-achieved during a downtime in WWE tag team wrestling.

They were so FUCKING AWFUL!

Rotunda is the most boring wrestler in history

Yeah IRS is strange. Rotunda succeeded in making the gimmick memorable (more so than it had any right to be) but maaaaaan...he wasn't much of a promo and in-ring he was a snore-fest.

Don't mind watching Rotunda in the tag team with Windham but it's pretty much downhill from there.
