Jeff Hardy Arrested on Multiple Charges Last Night
https://wrestlingheadlines.com/wp-co...dy-mugshot.jpg June 13, 2022 AEW star Jeff Hardy was arrested shortly after midnight last night in Volusia County, Florida. Volusia County jail records show that Hardy was booked into the jail at 12:45am, on charges of Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, Violation of Restrictions Placed on Drivers License, and DUI Alcohol/Drugs Third Offense within 10 Years. Hardy received a surety cash bond of $3,500 – $500 for the license charges, and $2500 for the DUI. He is currently still incarcerated at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Hardy is scheduled to appear in front of a judge for his first hearing tomorrow, June 14 at 1:30pm. |

No, no, I'm as shocked as you are.

Rich people getting DUIs is always kinda funny. Hire a driver, bud.
|
i don't think he will ever get sober
|
This is what Jeff Hardy does. Whenever he leaves the WWE, he takes a money mark for a ride so he can indulge in his vices. It always ends up as a bad look for him and for wrestling. He needs real help, but you can see the manipulative pattern of Jeff using the small time places as playgrounds.

Time to cut bait. He’s a liability at this point.

This isn't surprising, unfortunately. The guy's an addict. People don't change, at least not in any real way that matters. If he ever does actually manage to stay consistently clean, he'll ultimately just replace one addiction for another, albeit hopefully a healthier and safer addiction, both for his own sake and others.
In any event, he's a moron for not getting a ride and instead putting other people at risk. |
Wild.

He doesn't look too messed up in that mug shot. Not that he deserves the benefit of doubt, but unless specifics come out it looks like he got busted for a DUI. Still super bad, but better than Meth.

Prob doin time in the slammer for this one, I'd think?
|
Absolutely. If I read it right that’s 3 DUI’s in a decade. Get his ass off the streets appear.

It depends. I'm not licensed to practice in FL, but apparently in FL a 3rd DUI in 10 years requires a minimum mandatory of 30 days, of which 48 hours must be served consecutively, and he could serve up to as much as 5 years. He also will lose his license for at least 10 years after release if found guilty.

Blew over 3 and 1/2 times the limit

As much as he’s done, even at 3.5 times the limit he should have enough wits about him to call an Uber. At the very least set some sort of reminder while you’re sober. Jesus.

That damn Dudley!

The way Florida is these days he might be looking at the chair.

Anything above .30 is potentially fatal
|
Maybe for an amateur.
|
I’ve seen functional alcoholics blow higher than a .3 and have normal conversations with law enforcement. It’s insane.
I’ve also seen people with a .3 be found passed out at the wheel with vomit on them and their foot on the gas but the car in neutral. |
I once took a breathalyzer for the hell of it and blew a .44.
I did not drive. |
I want a breathalyzer. A good one.
|
Yup. $150 shipped.
|
$125. I’m in.

No pun intended. |
Warner Bros Discovery have apparently demanded that all promotion of Jeff Hardy cease. In some ways, Tony Khan might be relieved it’s “out of his hands.” But WBD probably don’t like needing to babysit either. And it looks like Jeff Hardy’s antics are getting less and less “cute” to people and he isn’t going to have his issues swept under the rug so much anymore.
|
but he's ok to jump off a ladder on dynamite this week, right?
|
Well I expected to see a lot of the typical anti AEW members here laying out the classic "I told you so!" to Tony.
I mean he hired a guy who either A. was high in his last match with WWE and legit bailed to go to go take a shit or another hit or B. faked being high and leaving the match so he'd get fired, so that he could go to AEW and work with his brother. Literally almost EVERYONE saw this coming. |
WWE saw it coming too and they’ve hired him multiple times. This is a Jeff issue. Honestly jail time to force him into sobriety is prob the best bet.
