So. What is the deal with his character? I don't get it. Am I that out of touch? Or is it the children who are wrong?

His theme song sucks, unsure why people sing along. I'm watching RAW and he is a see-through outfit. Is this supposed to be cool? His promo delivery is cringy.

His ring work is good. The best thing I've seen from him qas the split screen UFC rip off with Riddle where he was serious. He should lean into that persona - why not more of this?

According to him from... some interview that I can't be assed to look up, the whole "cringy" thing is intentional. He's supposed to be doing some real-life Joker type of deal. He dresses garrishly. He laughs for no reason. And as stupid as all of that sounds, he's super over and is currently a world champion.

He did the "serious persona" years ago like when he was "crashing" TV shows constantly challenging HHH. Guess he's over that now.

Seth doesn’t have an interesting personality, so he dresses wacky and uses that as a substitute. Fans that go along to these things just want to pretend they get the joke.

It’s like “Broken” Matt Hardy without breaking the 4th wall as much.

Well hopefully they take that belt off him soon as I dont care for it. Dressing in ladies clothes just isnt my thing. Maybe give it to Damien Priest. He seems rather interesting.

It’s hard to care about the belt in general. I did read that Seth wanted time off, so you might be in luck.

He's just the American Version of Shinsuke Nakamura. Just giving into the point people have always been saying.

Just watched the Nakamura promo. Put him back in pants and put the belt on him.

You encouraged me to check out Nakamura’s promo. Not bad. He is a confident talker, especially in Japanese. I like the “theme” of the feud. WWE doesn’t mind going deep to tie things together now. Curious about what Seth and Shin’s “code” is.

I hope Nakamura wins with a backbreaker. Seth will probably retain the belt though.

Reading the Raw results, it seems like Akira Tozawa got a clean win over Miz? Lol, I wonder if WWE’s deal in Japan is almost up? Or maybe it’s just go, go, go time for Trips to get guys he likes into position.

Ha, I pretty much skipped that match. Was only interested in the LA Knight pop and seeing what he would do after. From what I gathered LA Knight distracted the Miz costing him the match.

It's funny how Seth is supposed to represent the IWC by being it's world champion, and outside of Bron Breaker and Dirty Dom, all his title matches have been the IWC pulling against him

And in the case of Dom, it's because it's just not his time yet.

Actually went back. That was a non title match against Dom.

Speaking of Dom, I think they should "find some obscure paperwork" that stipulates that Dom's custody is technically a WWE Title that can be contended for.

Interested to see where Rollins/Nakamura lands on the card for Payback. Feels like a flimsy main event but it is a “B level” show. I hope it’s a one and done and they just go all out.

I’d be fine with Payback being Raw only. I’m not sure Roman will be working the show, so there’s a chance Seth/Shin actually main events.

I don’t think Roman is back for a while, Jey/Jimmy apparently is being saved for a bigger stage, Trish/Becky doesn’t feel big enough, but neither does Shin/Seth.

Could see whatever Cody does with Judgment Day closing.
