WWE Stock Market Sign Up Thread
Because I was a total jackass last night, I have decided to give back to the wrestling forum community with a fun game. It's called "WWE Stock Market". I will post the entire WWE roster once everyone has signed up, and you will each get $2000 WWE dollars. You can 'buy' stock in a wrestler (wrestlers are not exclusive, two people can buy stock in the same wrestler). You can put money on a wrestler to win or to lose. Let's say you put $300 on JBL to win. If he wins, you gain $300, if he loses you lose $300. Say you put $2000 on Shannon Moore to lose. If he loses, you gain $2000. If he wins, you lose $2000. If you go bankrupt, someone can generously loan you an amount of money to be paid back when you have exceeded the amount you owe by $500. Once you have exceeded the amount, that person gets the money you owe them. You can also sell stock in a wrestler if you feel they are not doing well. How much you gain from a sale depends on their win/loss record that I will keep track of. This only counts for RAW and Smackdown. Their wins will be multiplied by $1000, and their losses will be multiplied by $100. So if the person has 1 win and 2 losses in the month, you will gain $800 by selling that wrestler. If you go bankrupt, you lose all stock in your wrestlers and have to start over when someone gives you a loan. All wrestlers' win/loss records are wiped clean after the end of a month. At the end of a month, I will announce a winner (the person with the most money), and that person will gain an extra $1000 WWE dollars. In the event of a tie, the $1000 will be divided among the winners, so make good choices and try not to follow other's decisions. You can't buy or sell a Smackdown Superstar on Tuesday - Thursday. You can't buy or sell a RAW Superstar on Monday. Those are the only deadlines. All forms of a win count, cheating, DQ, countout, knockout, tap out, pinfall, etc. In the event of a draw, the win column does not go up, the loss column does not go up, but I will keep tabs on draws. You do not lose or win anything in the event of a draw. So sign up if you are interested, we will start on August 1st, 2004. |
Oh yeah, to sign up, you must have 500+ posts. |
I put 2000 on HHH.

Also do PPV's count?

Yes, PPVs count, and this whole thing doesn't start till August 1st. So get to editing. Also, check out the new provision as far as buying goes. |

Use context. Anyway, I was recently asked about tag teams, and if you can buy stock in a tag team. The answer is yes and no. You have to buy stock in each member of the tag team/stable. It is costly, but it works out double when they win or lose, depending on what you bought into. Let's say you use ALL your original $2000, spending $500 each on each member of Evolution to win. If they win an 8 man tag match, you've just doubled up. Easy enough, eh? |
I'll do it.
|
Sounds good, i'm in...:y:
