Should Edge change image/gimmick?
 

Do you think Edge should have a haircut? Do you think he should change his gimmick? Should he turn heel? I heard Edge doesn't want any changes, but do you think he should?

Although I would like to see the Downward Spiral A hell of a lot more often

I think he need to go back to the old smartass character ala E&C.Id rather see this than the intense Edge we have now.

I liked the way he was on Smackdown right before his injury. He would be a smart ass, E&C style, until someone pissed him off. Then he would just go nuts.

The current Edge is a sucky cheater with no intensity.

I would like to see him turn heel and do the hanging out in dirty dead end streets with an eerie look on his face.

Either that or do the goofy Edge face stuff, but then nobody will take him seriously.

I think the whole cutting his hair thing is dumb, it hasn't worked for anyone else, why would it work for Edge?

I guess they could turn Edge into a Sting like character and make him alot more evil or when Christian comes back they could do E&C again?

I used to like Edge a lot...I marked out when he won KotR. And I still think he has a lot of potential...-IF- he would ditch this stupid 'I'm taking you down, Evolution, by putting my feet on the ropes, and making someone more talented (Orton) job to me.'

I mean..Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Orton getting the cheers in their IC Match at the last Pay-Per-View? Maybe if Edge ditched this new gimmick, and went back to the old entering through the crowd Gangrel type thing again, he would be more accepted on the microphone (with the mysterious gimmick again), and in the ring...

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing the return of a Brood-type Edge. Right now, he's just kind of angsty. Not really much to speak of.

And I kinda' prefer a long haired Edge.

Edge used to be the man. Now he's this angry, cheating, long-haired, snorefest in the ring. His mic skills bore me to tears, his ring-work isn't nearly as good as it was before the injury. I don't expect him to be completely back on track after a serious neck injury, but really.

To make him cheat doesn't make him look over at all. His promo with HHH made him look serious up against Evolution, then he cheats to beat all of his serious opponents (Kane, Orton).

But, yeah. Let's give him the IC belt anyway. Especially when people see how over Orton is. I don't care what anybody thinks, when a big heel can garner BIG face chants at a PPV match against a face, it just proves how over that guy can really be. Edge's face pops are getting bigger and bigger. The fans would like to see the old Edge. This Edge sucks.

Whatever happened to the innocent, stoned, smart-ass Edge we all knew and love?

Back to heel Edge from E&C is all we need.

When Christian comes back, think there's a possibility of them reuniting? I mean, Christian's almost got his own little stable at this point. Trish, Christian, Edge and Tomko could be interesting... :y: It's not like they'd have to fued with Evolution or anything. It'd just be neat to have a couple of stables running around, instead of the same damn group week in and week out.

Hmm... a "Sting" Edge is pretty intruiging. However, I think the easiest thing is to revert him to his heel days. They're already working on that, so we should see a double turn around SummerSlam.

I wouldn't mind seeing a heel Edge at all. He could have an epic match with someone like a heel Orton, after Bischoff tried to make Edge's like a living hell. Edge loses a few non-title matches against Orton before Summerslam (via interference, DQ, etc.), and then they fight for the title at SS in a steel cage or ladder. When Edge is seemingly about to lose the title, Bischoff comes down and helps him and he ends up winning the title. This is the double turn that Corkscrewed talked about, and it is very similar to the way Austin sided with McMahon to get his title back.

I would like Edge to change his character to a wrestlr who isn't sloppy. I have a lot of faith in him that he'll lose his ring rust soon enough. I don't know if I want him as a heel though. I still like Christian being a top heel (He's getting there). I believe Edge becoming a heel would take away from Christian a little.

But I fully agree that the Smackdown Edge was the best solo Edge so far. The best being the E&C Edge.
