The Young Ones

Bought the second series on DVD today to add to the first series I already have. Fucking hell this show is hilarious. "Don't look at me, I'm irrelevent" (Match box). Bambi is my favorite episode because of the game show part with Bambi hosting. :y:

What's everyone's favorite episode and discuss.

Danny Electric 08-04-2004 09:14 PM

I used to love watching this programme. I don't have a favourite episode but all us British members should start a petition to get it back on our screens.
I love the episode with the house party though.

That episode is called Interesting, it's also one of my favorite ones. :D

I just love how stupid it is.

British comedy shits on American ones.

Young Ones are the greatest!
My favorite episode is when Neil becomes a police officer :D

They are replaying the series on TV1.

I fucking love The Young Ones - it's still as funny now as when it first came out. :D

Good to see such a positive response. :D

The Young Ones is one of my favourite comedy shows. Aren't there only about 5 or 6 episodes?

Bottom is composed of the same team of actors, and it's a great show too.

There are 2 series.

Each series has 6 episodes, so there's 12 overall (good to see I know some maths)

You could order it from there, UK Amazon, if you're desperate. I pretty much guarantee if you liked the Young Ones, you'll enjoy Bottom too.

TheNamelessOne 09-10-2004 03:48 PM

My personal favourite is either the one where that punk gets a pickaxe stuck through the middle of his head, or the University Challenge one.

"(Buzzes in) I've got a Porsche"

Disturbed316 09-10-2004 07:56 PM

The University Challenge episode was hilarious.

Rowan Atkinson: Doctor, Doctor, I can't feel my legs!
Doctor: Oh yes, that's because we've amputated your arms.
Rowan Atkinson: Ohhhh right!
