Rate The Tag Team - Day 6 - The New Age Outlaws
Well AMW, probably the greatest tag team in TNA's short history have earned a very decent score of 78 putting them third out of five.
Today's tag team is the New Age Outlaws. Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were at one point, most definetly the most popular in the WWE and held the tag team titles a number of times. They were also a part of one of the greatest groups ever DX. Voting may begin. Vote on tommorow's tag team and people can offer suggestion's for tommorow's poll. PS could a mod sticky this thread. The Leaderboard: Day 1 - Too Cool - 61 Day 2 - Edge and Christian - 93 Day 3 - Hardy Boyz - 82 Day 4 - Dudley Boyz - 70 Day 5 - AMW - 78 |
I give the Outlaws an 8 and Superslim yesterday said that he would give them a 10
|
As far as tag teams go, they were one of the best for the time that they were around. They had the perfect combination of godly mic skills, famous allies, awesome ring presence, bad attitude, and unrelenting brute force. As far as modern tag teams go, they were gods. I'll sport a 10.

If I could vote them a 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000 I would but since I can't I'll just give them a perfect ten.

9.5...BTW Too cool was day 1
|
9.5
meaga over with DX. great chemistry |
10, they were one the things that I remember most about the Attitude Era, and that really is saying something IMO.
|
9.5, great team
|
Owen and Bulldog will be the only team getting a 10 from me in the past 10 years. No other team really can beat that amount of talent. A great mix of everything. The NAO individually suckass, so as a team you just bring two pieces of crap together and you get a slightly larger piece of crap.
They get a 6 for accomplishments. Supremely over-rated though. |

Suggestions for tomorrow anyone?
|
The Headbangers?
*looks at poll* yup, The Headbangers... :shifty: |
For tomorrows poll is what I meant.
|
I was saying, just in case they blow their lead like the yankees.....
:shifty: |
X-pac and Kane
Owen Hart and Jeff Jarret Edge and Hogan |
10. They are proof of how two average guys with no direction can turn into a legendary tag team. The NAO was definately the highlight of both these guys career (save for maybe Billy Gunn winning the 1999 King of the Ring).
|
7.5
In the ring, both guys are mediocre, and hardly accomplished anything by themselves. Together, they got over huge, although to this day I'm not sure how. My guess is because of Road Dogg's sing-song mic work that everyone could go along with. The same can be said with guys like the Godfather. I never liked them myself, but I can't ignore the money they brought in. |
6.9
Two absolute shit wrestlers who somehow worked together pretty well as a team. |
Suggestions for the Future
The Four Horsemen Jendrak & O'Haire Rock N Sock Connection and the greatest Tag Team Ever. .....Still Waiting The Conquistadores! |
Rvd and Booker T ¬¬
|
10
|
Also....8.2 for NAO
|
10.. my fav. tag team of all time
|
BRITISH BULLDOGS
|
7, and that's mostly due to their overness and charisma.
Everyone vote Demolition for tomorrow. |

No question...10
|
Perfect 10.
Also for the future: The Outsiders (Hall + Nash) The Insiders (DDP + Nash) The Power Trip (Triple H + Stone Cold Steve Austin) DX (Road Dogg + X-Pac) D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels + Triple H) |
Perfect 10 from me, meeega over, great gimmicks that fitted the attitude area perfectly. Their ring ability is not that great, but its good enough.
10 |
Also I nominate; A.P.A/The Acolytes (Simmons and Layfield)
|
Okay voting is closed.
