Me...Asking for help....classic.
 

So yeah, getting a new laptop with wireless capabilities.

I've got an ordinary network setup, i already know all that shit, just wanting to know what hardware i'll need to get it on the network.

I also have a USB cable modem, just point me in the right direction on what i need to use the net and network on wireless. :)

So nobody uses wireless technology. Credo im looking in your direction for advice.

Or as far as I can see your desktop will need a wireless network card, or a wireless router as said above.
I would suggest talking to your local computer store and explain what setup you have and what you want to be able to do with it, they should be able to show you a few options.
i dont work with wireless yet so I cant really be of much help.

yeah, i had a lil grasp to credo but jsut wanted othe ppl's input.

Ill prob end up buying a USB exstesnion cable for my modem to sit in bed with it at first.

We've got a wireless network here. You should get one JJ Moore, they are great. I don't know how man existed before them. Marvellous.

My Wireless Network Connection has an excellent signal strength right now.
