Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

With Depp and Burton you can't really go wrong. But he looks rather creepy there.
I LOVE the original so of course I'm a little weary on them remaking it, but I have faith. Plus, it is a more straightforward adaptation of the book, which I have never read, so it will be different. No musical numbers for starters. Wonka's musical numbers were sick. |

I orignally heard that Marilyn Manson was considered for the part of Wanka. How different is the book from the original movie? Besides the musical numbers, I mean. How "dark" is it? |

I heard this was gonna be a darker version of the original movie. Sadly many kids will probably see this movie thinking for the happyness of a kiddy film.

I think those oompa loompa costumes are for the TV room that shrinks/transfers chocolate. I dont think they'll be all they wear.
Although the book makes the oompa loompa more like little troll doll type things. |
