With Depp and Burton you can't really go wrong. But he looks rather creepy there.

I LOVE the original so of course I'm a little weary on them remaking it, but I have faith.

Plus, it is a more straightforward adaptation of the book, which I have never read, so it will be different. No musical numbers for starters.

Wonka's musical numbers were sick.

Yeah, I love the original...

Also, to book has musical numbers (the songs the Oompa Loompas sang after they gotr rid of each kid) but that's it. The book is really dark, it rules

Should be cool, I'll be seeing it. Dunno how it will live up to the original, though.

I orignally heard that Marilyn Manson was considered for the part of Wanka.

How different is the book from the original movie? Besides the musical numbers, I mean. How "dark" is it?

I think those oompa loompa costumes are for the TV room that shrinks/transfers chocolate. I dont think they'll be all they wear.

Although the book makes the oompa loompa more like little troll doll type things.
