I get this thing that says something like the depth of screen is really low or something and to press the ballon to fix it and it did nothing. I dont know what it is the only thing I downloaded was the msn messager. Plz help me.

Desktop > Right Click > Properties > Settings tab > Change from 16 bit to 32 bit in the drop down menu.

See if that does it.

You need to reinstall the display driver by the looks of things.
What kind of video adapter does your PC have?

GARAGExBANDxGEEK 11-15-2004 05:01 PM

How do you re install the drivers ? I have no idea what kind of adapter I have.

DS 11-15-2004 07:18 PM

That's why I said to go change your bit. You need to install the drivers again so go find out what type of videocard you have by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information. From there expand the "Components" menu and click "Display". At the top it will say "Name" and then whatever you have. It will probably be something with ATI Radeon or Nvidia Geforce or something along those lines unless you're using a motherboard chip. Then go to either ATI.com or Nvidia.com depending on what you have. If you're not sure just post it on here and we can find it for you.

I have a Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 and I am on the Nvidia site and download driver now what?

DS 11-15-2004 08:11 PM

Install it and restart. Then do everything I said in the second post.
