Whats that thing you need to put in the hosts file to make soulseek connect
I remember Downunder posted what you need to type in the hosts file and then put it in a folder, i can't remember what/where and soulseek wont connect :(
Anyone know? |
find your hosts file (C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc), and open with notepad and add these lines.
38.115.131.131 sk2.slsk.org 38.115.131.131 www.slsk.org 38.115.131.131 mail.slsk.org 38.115.131.131 server.slsk.org |

Detroit what?!
|
Um, soulseek's website is www.slsknet.org. That www.slsk.org site is bogus.
|
Why didn't I have to do this when I downloaded Soulseek recently? When I downloaded it on my old comp a few months back I had too. But when I downloaded it the other week on this new machine it worked fine right away.
Not that it matters or anything, I am just curious here. |
there has been an update I think that edits the hosts file on install.
