Did Brock Lesnar actually break Hardcore Holly's neck?

Or was it a work cause I didn't even notice that he was gone until came on tv with those retarded vignettes "Brock, I'm going to break your neck!"

SuperSlim 12-04-2004 06:32 PM

I'm not definite on it but I'm pretty sure he did.

Gouda 12-04-2004 06:35 PM

I'm pretty sure it was Holly's fault for not tucking his head up properly.

Hollywood Red 12-04-2004 07:38 PM

It's not quite that Holly didn't tuck properly, it's that Holly was being a dick, as usual.

Holly, as is his usual schtick, was grumpy that Brock was getting such a push so, on his on accord, decided to give Brock a rough go of it. When Brock went to pick Holly up for a powerbomb, Holly didn't help Brock lift him by tucking, and instead deadweighted Brock. Normally that'd just make the guy delivering the powerbomb looking weak, but Brock was strong enough get Holly up, but Holly was still stretched straight and so he was vertical, upside down.

Anyone else might've tried to work around it, but, Matt Capotelli or René Duprée, Brock was not. He simply said "Fuck it" and drove Holly straight on his neck. Badass.

To my knowledge Brock suffered no repercussions after this as most felt it was Holly being Holly and, in this case, Holly was unwarranted and got what he deserved back.

Yeah, basically Holly thought he would make Brock look bad by causing him to botch the move, but Brock is actually strong enough to powerbomb someone whether they want to be powerbombed or not. Pretty much what would have happened if Brock had powerbombed some random guy on the street. Ha ha, screw you Holly.

Rob 12-04-2004 08:23 PM

Actually, a guy on the street might have been sensible enough to curl up and not take a drop on his neck.

The Naitch 12-04-2004 08:25 PM

lol Here comes the pain

John la Rock 12-04-2004 08:42 PM

so he actually broke his neck for real?

lol Leznar is great. Now if only he could refrain himself from wanting to kill me for being a smart mark.

Boondock Saint 12-04-2004 09:31 PM

I had a dream Lesnar returned on Smackdown. And I missed it. I was like WTF.

You are safe. Just stay away from computers and Meltzer's sheet whilst in his company.

Savio 12-05-2004 11:11 AM

Way to go Brock!

Volchok 12-05-2004 02:27 PM

Actually a guy on the street might be sensible enough to just slowly back away and make a run for it if you found out Lesnar wants to powerbomb you

ColdwaVer 12-06-2004 09:44 PM

I dunno, my first instinct if someone tried to do something involving jamming my head between their legs would be to bite their nuts. :shifty:

dalegendkilla 12-13-2004 04:15 PM

Didn't Brock kick Holly in the neck straight afterwards??? If he did, then that was a bit cruel if it was really broken wasn't it???

He probably didn't know that he broke his neck at that point. But anyway, anything that shortens Bobcore's career (and thus extends everyone else's) is fine by me.

Pepsi Man 12-15-2004 07:28 AM

What I don't like is if Holly did this to literally ANYONE, this would get yet more complaint for his detractors. It happens to him, and it's "his fault".

SuperSlim 12-15-2004 11:04 AM

well it was his fault.

if someone else didn't get in the correct position and Bobcore did somethin that injured that wrestler then we would go off on the guy that screwed up... not Bobcore cause it wasn't Bobcore's fault but the guy that wasn't int he correct position. But this one is Holly's fault for tryin to be a pain.

Are you a doctor?

Can you diagnose a broken neck using only your eyes immediately after it happens, in the midst of any form of performance?

People have been dumped on their heads without actually having their neck broken.

Full of shit? I make a point, and you respond with this. I would say this is more shit than any post thus far in the thread.

But, that's just my humble opinion.

And that has A LOT to do with Hardcore Holly and Brock Lesnar.

SuperSlim 12-15-2004 09:19 PM

Maybe, or maybe I'm just clicking the mouse button at random times and striking random keys, but I guess we'll never know.

But this thread was not about me. It was about Hardcore Holly and Brock Lesnar. Unless you're talking about the time I went to SmackDown! and saw both men, as Holly beat Faarooq on Velocity and Brock beat Mark Henry on SmackDown!, I really don't have anything to do with either man. :(

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-16-2004 07:43 AM

Pepsi, you are easily the biggest doofus in the world.

In saying this I completely realize that I too am a bit of a doofus, but god, you are just easily the most massive tool ever.

Yeah, it's so unfair.

You can't argue a moot point as a straw man argument without getting called on it. First the Romans did it to Jesus, the Nazis did it to the Jews, now they're doing it to you.

BAHGAWD THE HUMANITY

It probably does, but for that matter, your mom probably sucks as well. It's just part of life...life in her job as a prostitute.
