Though many fans of World Wrestling Entertainment may not be aware of it, Raw Diva Trish Stratus (Real Name: Bhimadevi Satyavatdha) is actually married. Though the WWE credits Canada as the Diva's home, it is merely her childhood home. In early 1970, Trish's parents moved to and spent several years in southern India where they later gave birth to Trish. In order to honor their neighbors, they betrothed their newborn to 47 year old Harischandra Satyavatdha Reddy, and shortly after, the two were married and moved to Canada. Stratus's first child, Ractavira Robert Satyavatdha Reddy was born on January 13th, 1988. Shortly after, however, Trish entered modeling and eventually the wrestling world where she changed her name.
A representative of the WWE quoted, "She insisted on using her birth name in the ring, but none of the ring announcers could pronounce it. Eventually Vince told her that she had to use a new name, but she refused to come up with one, so Vince came up with Trish Stratus off the top of his head."
Currently, her husband and son still live in Toronto. In related news, WWE representatives neither confirmed nor denied the connection between Trish's recent rash of injuries with several domestic abuse calls to the police at her home, though rumor is that her husband is violently against her recent onstage infidelity with both WWE superstars Christian and Chris Jericho. Martin Scorsese was not available for comment.
