:love: Promo segments were shown of OVW's Chris 'The Masterpiece' Masters on Tonights edition of Raw. The guy is 21 and jacked to hell, is sure to make a big impact and from what I've seen he can actually go in the ring.

Given the right gimmick and push this kid will go far. :cool:

Shaggy he isn't Batista 2.0 he has a very varied moveset and can actually work a match properly.

He's about 6.3 - 6.4

PDD was apart of wrestling since his late 20's. Kind of old to get involved in wrestling but look how he turned out.

BTW Masters looks steroided up, and definately looks older than 21.

Why does everyone new they bring in have to be heel?

Excluding Eugene I think every new person brought in on either Smackdown or Raw has been heel.

I already hate him as a person.

The Narcissist gimmick is a heel character.

Not necessarily, Luger portrayed a heel gimmick with it for sure, It would still work as a face gimmick. Stop living in the past.

Maybe they havnt decided what he is yet....much like they did with Hassan. They let the people decide first.......which means Vince decides and makes us think we did.

I"m just stoked; we need a few more Johns and Chrises in this company.

Actually, ya know, they should bring him in after Jindrak leaves Angle's stable. Have him team with Jindrak and you have a modern day Body Donnas with great moves.

I've actually heard he's not that good in the ring. Of course this is probably from people who have only see his WWE work. I mean pretty much every OVW wrestler has been toned down since debuting. John Cena, Randy Orton, Doug Basham, Danny Basham, Muhammad Hassan, Rob Conway, Eugene Dinsmore, etc.

I hope they let him show his stuff. :-\

Jindrak failed at it, so will this guy.

I don't like the perfection gimmick.

Personally - I would love to see a gimmick which was similar to Edge's in 98' (i.e. a guy who never talks, wear's sunglasses and a trench coat, and attacks people from the crowd). THAT would've been cool IMO. :y:

I don't think they'll honestly give him the perfection gimmick. Maybe he'll join Evolution as Triple H's "replacement" for Batista, or maybe he'll join Simon Dean, but I don't think they'd stick ihm by himself with a gimmick they've used 1,000 times.

I have faith he will turn into something decent.

Gimmick idea for Chris Masters
 

Assuming that its not too late in changing his gimmick, I'd have him act like "Casey Jones" from the TV Show, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".



Have him dress, act, and talk like Casey Jones.

Have him come down to the ring (with a cricket stick, baseball bat, hockey stick, etc. in his case). Have him wear a goalie mask, etc.


I think it would be a bit goofy, but funny as well. :D.

But then again - I have a bizzarre sense of humor. I 'LOL' every time Simon Dean cuts a promo. :shifty:

So do I. I LOL everytime Maven, Vince or Snitsky gets promo time as well. Or when someone in the crowd screams out "I SCREWED CHYNA!" during a RAW broadcast after "You Screwed Chyna!" chants break out directed at Triple H. :shifty:

Anyway, I can see Masters acting all psychotic, and wearing a hockey mask. It doesn't need to be a comedy gimmick, just a "he's a sick f***" gimmick. Maybe he can scare kids in the front row or something? SmackDown! would be better for him though (he can be Heyman's Heidenreich replacement).

I stand by him joining up with Simon Dean or something as his "pet project". Maybe bring in John "Tank" Toland and have them team together?
