MSN Messenger Problem

I was trying to installMessenger 7.0. Kane Knight made me aware it was out of date or whatever so I tried to re-install the version 6.2. Now i can't do that either and it keeps giving me an error message. I e-mailed MSN and their instructions didn't help either, and neither did KK's...any one know what to do?

Make sure you uninstall whichever version(s) you have running, then download one from there, and update it when you log in.

Or if you want to install 6.2, you have to uninstall MSN 7 via add/remove programs in the control panel, and then go back to http://messenger.msn.com
