Batista's choice (spoiler i guess)

Well Raw is coming to my area next month and they had a promo the wwe made for tickets going on sale and they advertised as the main event is gonna be a triple threat match for the world title between HHH vs Orton vs Batista. Dont know how soild they are but take it as you like.

Volchok 02-15-2005 10:44 PM

Wooooooooooooooooooooo Batista is Raw... not really but i wanna see Batista Batista Bomb big nose...

Shaggy 02-15-2005 11:43 PM

He should go to Smackdown...

or atleast stay on Raw and hopefully Orton will be toned down.

Volchok 02-16-2005 12:01 AM

Orton should continue his fued with Christian, while Batista fueds with HHH..then after mania i would say a Batista/Orton program.. but its been done... Batista/Edge sounds good.... hell Batista/Jericho sounds good too...

Corkscrewed 02-16-2005 01:20 AM

Well, it's not like we didn't see this coming.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the RAW main event was a triple threat again, altho the smart thing would be to make it one on one.

I-Hate-You 02-16-2005 01:55 AM

I guess Orton's "concussion" got better.

I was really hoping there would be a Orton/Christian program at Mania.

Of course, we know who would win. :-\

Corkscrewed 02-16-2005 03:46 AM

yup.

Triple H. :shifty:

Honestly with how WWE is fucking up right now they'll have Batista build up towards JBL, then in the last week before WM he'll change his mind.

Kane Knight 02-16-2005 12:05 PM

You know, those cards are "subject to change."

I just want to point that out.

Well, since everyone suspects Triple H is behind this whole scheme, is this a bad thing? If it's done right, that'll still look good.

Wait...What am I saying...If it's done right...

Mr. Nerfect 02-16-2005 05:09 PM

Apparantly Candice Michelle said Triple H vs. Batista would be the main event at WrestleMania. I'm wondering if they'll do the Triple Threat on SD! just for the sake of it now.

I'm actually in favour of Batista going to SD!. It would draw interest to the show, and allows Batista to remain in Evolution.

I know this is unlikely, but what are the chances that the WWE will let Batista do BOTH main events? It would make Batista a HUGE star. I can just see Batista holding both contracs on RAW, weighing them. Then signing both at the same time and calmly saying "I'll take both.".

It would be a question if he could work two main events, but I think the fans would be into it, and he wouldn't need to do much in the Triple Threat.

tucsonspeed6 02-16-2005 06:28 PM

Having one wrestler work the main events of both shows might be a concern with backstage moralle. I don't think Batista would care to work twice as many shows with the same paychecks, and the other wrestlers may feel a bit held down (more than before).

The CyNick 02-16-2005 09:15 PM

Anyone who thinks he's going to SD really needs to pay more attention to RAW

I can't help but agree there. It's not like there's a huge mystery here.

The CyNick 02-16-2005 10:17 PM

Yeah I mean they've done a great job building up the possibility that he could go to SD. But to anyone who has watched RAW for the past few months (which Ia susme most here have been) it would be very illogical for them not to do HHH vs Batista.

I know the WWE does some dumb things, but I think in this case they will do the right thing.

John la Rock 02-16-2005 11:18 PM

HHH vs Batista at Mania must happen. Hopefully everything unfolds next week and Batista turns completely face

BatistaBomb 02-16-2005 11:42 PM

batista needs to lay trips out and at wm21 batista bomb his ass so hard that he breaks his back and sends big nose home once and for all

hey i can wish cant i

It's less benefit of the doubt, and more the Rock Bottom scenario. I'm convinced even the WWE can't screw this shit up.

Mr. Nerfect 02-17-2005 03:22 AM

I know he's almost definately going to stay on RAW, but if he does, what's next? Pretty much nothing. Well for Triple H anyway, and you know that isn't going to happen.

I would enjoy Batista semi-squashing Triple H as much as anybody, but the match is really short-sighted, and unless Randy Orton rejoins Evolution, I see nothing on the horizon.

Yeah, it's been buiilding up for like almost a year, but it's short sighted? :wtf:

Besides, I have faith in the writing team's ability to find something to keep HHH on top of the game.

The build-up has been great, but it's what would happen after the match that worries me. I don't know if Batista vs. Edge and Batista vs. Orton can entertain the fans for long enough.
