The other No Way Out predictions thread

Before I start this, I want to lay down the rules:

1: Anyone can make predictions here, including those who are in the Tipsters league, haven't been here for long, or don't even care about Smackdown (most of you)

2: If you actually care about Smackdown, you can make your predictions here too, but if I find out I'll probably make fun of you behind your back...

3: Points will be rewarded in the following manner. 10 points will be given for the correct winner of the match. 5 points will be given for correctly identifying whether the match will end in the following: CLEAN, SUBMISSION, CHEATING, INTERFERANCE, or DQ. Again, you can say more about the finish to show off, but I'll only award a maximum of 5 points. I don't think there are any ultra-gimmicky matches, so I'll just leave it at that.

Now, on to the matches.

JBL vs. Big Show in a Steel cage with really sharp, pointy wires that are surely going to cut somebody, or at least appear to be quite threatening atop the cage for 90% of the match.

Taker vs. The murderous, unstoppable monster that shits his pants when he sees old, washed up guys' belt buckles. (Oh yeah...I went there!)

Kurt Angle vs. John Cena in a match of some sort that will pretty much tell you the winner of the main event before it happens....or so I hear.

Bashams or Burritos?

A really good match that I'm guessing will only last for a maximum of 5 minutes....[/sad reality] For those of you who don't recognise the guys above (and how could you with all of the TV time they get....) they're Funaki, Paul London, Shannon Moore, Chavo Guerrero, Spike Dudley, and Akio.

Honestly, I still have to decide if I'm gonna count this. Go ahead and guess anyway. Joy, Michelle, Rochelle, Lauren, and a large ball of naval lint. No finish required for this one. :roll:

Here's my picks:

1: JBL via interferance (Batista will destroy both men, and one of the cabinet members will drag JBL across Show...barbed wire or not, the ring will have more men in it than Stephanie McMahon c. 1999. *WINK!*)

2: Taker will destroy Reigns for another borin--I mean, Clean victory.

3: Cena will beat Angle via interferance with Shawn Michaels screwing Kurt

4: Eddie and Rey will Soar, Bashams will bore. Overall, I'll Snore, and it'll be the Bashams cheating their way to victory.

5: I forsee at least one man will not even make it to the ring because he'll get destroyed in a backstage segment meant to hype an already over hyped match later on in the night. The final two will be Spike and Funaki with Spike winning via cheating.

6: Normally I'd go with the ball of naval lint because it obviously has the most tallent, but knowing the average whore obsessed WWE marks, they'll probably vote for the one with the most TV time prior to the "match". Joy whores it up in front of millions of people, including her children.

Depending how they lay this thing out, this could be a good show.

Tag title, CW title, Angle-Cena and the main event (with the booking) could all be pretty good.

If they were smart they'd give more time to the Cruisers than the Divas, but that aint happening.

I'd also expect to see BT vs Heidy and maybe something like Holly/Dupree vs Kenzo/Dupree.

As for picks:

JBL retains (I kinda expect some angle to happen where the Cabinet gets in the ring somehow, but Batista lays them all out, or they fight to the back. Leaving JBL and Show to finish their match one on one.

Cena over Angle, hopefully with no help. Shoot the HBK-Angle angle AFTER the match.

Bashams retain their titles, to start the Rey-Eddie program for Mania.

Booker over Heidenreich (hopefully)

Chavo wins CW title

Taker over Reigns (but Taker sells a little to make Reigns look good). I wouldn't mind seeing Orton show up after the match and maybe RKO Taker.

Divas thing........Who cares?

JBL vs. Big Show: JBL, Batista will break into the cage which will allow the Cabinet to enter. Escape.

Undertaker vs. Reigns: Taker...Tombstone. Pin.

Angle vs. Cena: Cena by way of an HBK superkick into the F-U. Pin.

Bashams vs. Rey/Eddie: Bashams after miscommunication between the faces. Pin.

Cruiser Match: London after pinning Chavo. Order of elimination: Moore, Akio, Spike, Funaki. Again....Pin.

Diva Thingy: Michelle because she's the Super Bowl chick...right...or was it someone else, anyways whatever....

Booker T. vs. Heidenriech: Heidenriech. Pin?

JBL Via Climbout (most likely through door). Batista will be involved somehow and whoever Big show may be facing at Wrestlemania will get involved

I would say as much as I love Michelle :love: I would say Joy since she is the one who has actually had a semblance of an angle to be in recently.

Batista breaks into the cage, he takes out jbl, and not being too smart, big show gets pissed off at Batista interfearing in his match and goes to take him
out, but Batista takes out big show too, he leaves, JBl comes round first, and escapes the cage

Undertaker vs. Reigns: Taker...Tombstone. Pin.

Angle vs. Cena:
HBK gives angle a sweet chin shot, Cena covers for three

Bashams vs. Rey/Eddie: Bashams after miscommunication between the eddie and rey

Cruiser Match: London after pinning Chavo. Order of elimination:Funaki Moore, Spike, Akio, chavo . .

Diva Thingy: aint watched smackdown in a while, so dont any of these women, ill just say Joy

Booker T. vs. Heidenriech:booker t via pin

JBL vs Big Show:

JBL after Batista inteference, cage opens up, cabinet helps JBL win once again.

Cena, HBK sweet chin music on Angle, straight into an F-U by Cena

Tag Titles:

Bashams, Miscommunication between Eddie and Rey results into a bashams victory. Seeds planted for mysterio eddie match at WM 21.

Cruiserweight title:

Paul London pins Chavo in the end.

Booker T vs HEI-DEN-REICH

Heidenreich with whatever his weird finisher is.

Divas thing:

Michelle, by fans goin crazy bout her

Ok, here's the results:

WWE CHampionship-- JBL won on a technicallity but still cleanly.
Taker/Reigns-- Taker wins cleanly
#1 Contender's Match-- Cena won cleanly
Tag Match-- Mysterio and Guerrero won via a quick cheat on Eddie's part.
Cruiserweights -- Chavo beat London by cheating
Diva crap -- Joy's a whore, but a winning whore none the less.
Sorry, I didn't know about the Booker T match when I made this thread. It was a DQ on Heidenreich btw. Booker wins.

And we have a new champ! Cynick pounced us all with 60 points. However, our two former champions have a rematch clause that says they can compete again at the biggest show of them all. WRESTLEMANIA! Ironically, so can anyone else on this website. Reps to Cynick, and I hope to see everyone at the Wrestlemania thread with their game faces on.

If theres any man to take my place as the "other" champ, im glad its Cynick, one of the most knowledgable posters on here. I hope this grows for the Wrestlemania thread
