biggest blunders in wrestling

just curious what some of you guys consider to be the biggest F ups of all time in the great history of wrestling, not in any particualr order or anything just random things that we all look back on now and go wtf were they thinking.

there are the obvious like you know doink!! WTF vince???

but others like having hogan take out yokozuna in like 14 seconds at wm9, how much damage did wwf do to bret and yoko's credibility only to have hogan bail in 3 months after??

my all time hands down has to be arquette winning wcw world title, are u f'ing serious, i would give anything to have the dolorean to be able to go back in time to be in that production meeting where that was decided to laugh my ass off!!

any others guys???

Tornado 02-22-2005 01:10 PM

jnb3599 02-22-2005 05:17 PM

yea i did hate the invasion angle, it could have been done right, but it needed two shows to do so and austin going heel was monumentally stupid as much as goldberg going heel in wcw was

You know, it's not quite where this thread seems to be going, but when I first saw it, I immediately thought "Owen's death."

I think what he means is, by giving Triple HHH the World Heavyweight Title, that was the biggest blunder in wrestling history.

SuperSlim 02-25-2005 11:23 AM

what's chamber of horrors?

RP 02-25-2005 02:08 PM

Undertaker being dead then reincarnated as a biker, then being dead again.

The Dog Kennel From Hell or whatever McMahon decided to call that shit.

Bo 02-27-2005 08:39 PM

You may be referring to the infamous "King Of The Road Match" pitting Dustin Rhodes VERSUS Blacktop Bully that took place on the Uncensored 1995 Pay Per View event.
