This thread should have been made a long time ago, but obviously too many people know the scrutiny that will come from making it, but I will take the bullet. The second season is getting just too good to not talk about it.

I started watching the first season midway through last fall, and in the past few weeks have watched the whole first season. Its not realistic, some of the acting isn't very good, but I don't know one person, guy or girl, who has watched part of the first season and not been hooked on it. Everybody, absolutely everybody including me, is skeptical, "Oh, everybody watches it but it probably still sucks" and then they watch and they are hooked. I'm not ashamed to say that I watch it, because everybody I know at school watches it and if some TPWW poster disapproves then so be it.

There was a thread a long while back asking who watches the show, and quite a few people did. Lets talk

Anna was my favorite girl, it sucked when she left. At least Sandy isn't going anywhere, because he is a great. I used to think Marissa was hotter then Summer, but as things progressed Summer was definately hotter. But what about Alex :eek:.

This season has been terrible. The first season was great but this year they're doing so many shitty angles and swerves and uggggggggggggggggh its so retarded

Plus Luke was the best character on the show

Yeah when Luke was cool he was the man. Last years side characters (Anna, Luke, Hailey, Theresa) were better then this years (Lindsey, Summer's boyfriend, Alex, Lindseys Mom)

Zach is sweet but the rest of them suck

Zack is the biggest flamer to hit the OC.

Luke was the man.

Ryan doesn't punch anything anymore, which pussifies his character.

Summer is hotness personified.

Seth is my homie. Plus, I have been compared to him consistantly but I only take offense when it comes to his over-obsession with Summer. Otherwise, he rules all.

I miss Anna. :'(

This season is absolutely terrible. Everyone is a smart ass pussy, like they realise that Seth was funny so they wrote every character to be an extension of him.

Plus they are rushing through their crappy storylines so quickly which just makes things worse.

It seems like after last weeks episode they have ended some shitty storylines and are going back to what worked last year

What are they going to do next year, unless they decide to continue to live at home or something?

If you think about it, the seasons are both kind of on a parrallel. First you have to bring somebody home, then early stages of a relationship and Sandy has an "affair", then everything blows up and goes back to normal for the most part, and then it coasts to the end. It looks like the original couples are getting back together, and to avoid bringing a new completely outrageous character...they should just bring Anna back.

I hated Oliver too, but I will admit when he was there the show was really good because you hated him so much.

The OC is really just the WWE without big half naked men, instead Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, and everybody else. I have no shame :rant:
