So I actually am watching Heat...

And the announce team was talking about how "With Lita's training," anything's possible."

And all I'm thinking is how many jokes there were in that one. And some of them don't even involve the word "botch."

Gertner 03-27-2005 07:52 PM

You are such a liar Kane!!!!!! Nobody watches Heat. Next thing you're gonna tell me is that JR doesn't bathe in BBQ sauce .

Gertner 03-27-2005 07:53 PM

so soon she'll be banging Edge as well.

Bo 03-27-2005 07:54 PM

Listen if Isiah Thomas can write a book about success in business, then people will take advice form damn near anyone.

And I honestly don't even know what time or channel Heat is even on.

Shadow 03-27-2005 11:12 PM

Spike TV. 7/6 Central

SuperSlim 03-27-2005 11:17 PM

I would probably write a book on how to procrastinate... and never complete it. :D

probably never start it either.

PullMyFinger 03-28-2005 12:09 AM

What's up with the no namers wrestling against Masters? Also, Masters' finisher has got to be one of the shittiest ones alive.

Gone Mad 03-28-2005 12:14 AM

....I lost to Hussan on Heat, but next time, the MadMan will take him. Trust me on that.

And no, people watch Heat, even if it's 5 people. It's Velocity that nobody watches. IT'S ON FREAKIN' SATURDAY NIGHT!

PullMyFinger 03-28-2005 12:14 AM

What time is Velocity on?

Well,

1) Nobody in their right mind would want to wrestle Masters after his debut...

2) If you're going to drop him off the A-List show and build him up, it's best to have him kill jobbers, because it really doesn't matter if they lose.

3) Masters' intro is so long that they need guys without actual entrances, lest all of heat be eaten up before the bell rings.

You know, I actually read a book about procrastination. It took me a year to actually finish it, but...

Ah, I'll explain it later.

And at least the "Masterlock" hasn't been as overhyped as THE POOOOOOUNCE.

Gone Mad 03-28-2005 12:17 AM

Velocity is on at 7 pm or 11 pm... I am not even sure anymore.

PullMyFinger 03-28-2005 12:20 AM

I remember Heat used to be so crazy once before Smackdown! came about. I think Heat used to really boost PPV buyrates for them b/c they'd hype it up like crazy the final hour and provide some cliffhanger that would make me want to order the PPV.

And the time doesn't help. Jesus, 11PM?

I think 3 AM infomercials get better ratings.

Yeah, but that's because they also treated it like it mattered.

Hell, even SMACKDOWN! doesn't get that benefit.

PullMyFinger 03-28-2005 12:32 AM

I know. I wish at least they could at least make Heat some decent show the night of the PPV.

PureHatred 03-28-2005 12:38 AM

I think its more depressing how Smackdown can be such a throwaway show. It's two hours on primetime on what is more or less network television but every week there's some segment like "Carlito Cool dresse like Elvis" or "Dawn Marie grudge match." At least with Heat there's the "secondary show" excuse.

Yeah, I remember when the Higher Power revealed himself to Austin in '99. He came on Heat and was giving stunners to everyone, hyping up the next RAW in which Vince was revealed.

Word.

The "Catfight" is proof that the bookers need to be shot.
