Who do you think will get released next?

I think it'll be Bob Holly. However it'll probably be shannon since he's entertaining.

The Naitch 04-12-2005 02:42 PM

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

(I hope it's true)

The Naitch 04-12-2005 02:42 PM

wait...BOD Holly?

Eunos 04-12-2005 02:44 PM

Ok i see Mollys release thing but i see no Bob Holly one.

I aint celebrating till it is confirmed.

SuperSlim 04-12-2005 03:01 PM

sadly I still don't see Bob Holly gettin released. He's been there too long.

Shannon Moore, Scotty 2 Hotty, Akio, some cruisierweight is gonna fall next.

LK 04-12-2005 03:03 PM

I fear that it could be Akio or someone along the lines of his level of talent.

DaveBrawl 04-12-2005 03:04 PM

As long as it isn't Benoit, Undertaker or Christian I'll still watch sadly. But that Matt Hardy thing really sucks.

KingofOldSchool 04-12-2005 03:05 PM

It'll be a release that would defy simple logic, so I'm going to say Batista.

Cool King 04-12-2005 03:06 PM

I hate to say it but I see Jericho being released.

If the writers make him job to Shelton at Backlash then he's probably gone.:n::(

Kane Knight 04-12-2005 03:27 PM

Shannon Moore can't be fired. Who else would the champion squash in lottery matches?

Savio 04-12-2005 03:28 PM

London

NoRoolz 04-12-2005 03:36 PM

It will be a talented wrestler, who is waaaay underpushed. Will be a cruiserweight too, we all know how Vince loves his big men, so I'll guess - Akio, and will be sad to see him gone. :(

Shaggy 04-12-2005 03:49 PM

Akio sounds like he might go.....but Akio is so damn good in that ring it just saddens me that they would let him go

Since Matt Hardy was released it only seems to me that maybe Shannon Moore would be next.

Mr. JL 04-12-2005 03:50 PM

Hurricane or Shannon Moore since he just had a car crash

LK 04-12-2005 03:57 PM

Hurricane - friend of Matt, I doubt he's too happy with what has happened to Matt. I fear that he may be the next victim which will also probably result in the release of Rosey.

Not a chance, even Vince knows how dangerous letting Jericho would be, he wouldn't admit it, but he knows how big a draw Jericho could be given half a chance.

Better to keep him a midcarder than risk him main eventing elsewhere.

weather vane 04-12-2005 04:08 PM

I see Hurricane, Moore and Rosey on the way out. Ivory as well.

loopydate 04-12-2005 04:11 PM

Hurricane. It all adds up. He's a friend of Matt Hardy's. He's entertaining as hell. He weighs less than 275 pounds. Plus, I'm sure in Vince's eyes, it looks like he's holding back a perfectly good hoss.

With Helms out of the way, Rosey can go on to his feud with the Undertaker or something else high-profile.

LK 04-12-2005 04:11 PM

Like Paul Heyman or RVD, Vince knows how much of a threat Jericho could be in another promotion so Y2J will still be around come the end of this round of releases.

Sickboy 04-12-2005 04:17 PM

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hurricane go. Vince isn't intelligent enough to send him to Smackdown and actually put him to use

NoRoolz 04-12-2005 04:20 PM

To one point I agree with Vince - The WWE's roster is too big. So it makes sense to fire a load of jobbers and talentless wrestlers, and hiring some more cruisers and tag teams to build up the divisions.
So here's who I'd fire:
Heidenreich, Kenzo Suzuki, Hardcore Holly, Mark Henry, Tyson Tomko, Chris Masters. Plus other guys from heat and velocity that although they have talent. Would do much better down in TNA.

But this is where Vince goes wrong, he doesn't fire talentless jobbers, he fires some of the best talent in the WWE :?: firing guys like Matt Hardy, Rhyno and Molly really doesn't make sense to me. These 3 were over, exceptionally Matt Hardy, and could really help Raw or SmackDown.

PorkSoda 04-12-2005 04:30 PM

Maybe Vince will get released next..... :shifty:

RemyRed 04-12-2005 04:33 PM

Shannon Moore. Although how cool would it be to see Shannon Moore, Shane Helms and the Hardys form a stable in TNA?

TerranRich 04-12-2005 04:35 PM

I seriously think it's Val Venis. Yes, he's still under their payroll. :p

Ruien 04-12-2005 05:04 PM

Mark Henry. I think hes still in their roster at least.

Splaya 04-12-2005 05:19 PM

Cena is next :shifty:

Honestly though, it will either be Sparkplug, or Mark Henry.

If they let Christian, Benoit, or Jericho go, I swer to god

Nervous Ferret 04-12-2005 05:25 PM

Splaya

M. Banana 04-12-2005 05:31 PM

The most talented wrestler on the mother fucking roster....

Big Show.

TerranRich 04-12-2005 05:50 PM

They will never release the Big Show, are you kidding me? And Bob Holly has job security like no other. After teaching the Tough Enough kids about respect in the ring and looking out for each other physically, then being stiff as hell with WWE's top workers (Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, etc.), you'd think he'd at least be punished.

Well, I guess not being on TV at all is punishment enough. No talent moron...

El Santo 04-12-2005 06:04 PM

I'm going to go with the Cruiserweights as well: Spike Dudley, Akio, and/or Nunzio, but not for the reasons that everyone is saying here. If it's true that the WWE signed Kazarian, Super Crazy, Juventud, and Psychosis, then that means that the Cruiser division is incredibly crowded right now and someone has to go.

I think Hurricane's in trouble as well. The WWE seems to think that blogs are tools of the devil (see: Matt Hardy), and Shane Helms did register his support of his friend Matt Hardy online.

I'm also worried about Alexis Laree down in OVW. It looks like they're eliminating all female wrestlers with talent. Looks like Alexis will never have a chance to make it to the regular roster with all the ladies from the Diva Contest arrivingl

M. Banana 04-12-2005 06:05 PM

There are 8 more people left.

Last time they went on a releasing spree, 11 had to go. Right?

The new 3 Count?

RGWhat316 04-12-2005 06:36 PM

I have a feeling Val Venis is gonna be on the list.

Jericho: You can't fire me, I quit!
Vince: You better read your contract, sonny.
Jericho: Let's see... merchandise rights... travel allowance... no-compete until 2199... what the hell?!
Vince: Now get your ass into that ring and job to that Masters boy, I like the cut of his jib.
Jericho: He can barely talk!
Vince: Get out there or you'll be jobbing to Lawler next!

In that situation, I would rather job to Lawler than job to Masters

jerichoholic169 04-12-2005 07:08 PM

lol they'll never fire bob holly. isn't he like the longest serving wrestler in WWE besides taker now?? i think it'll be somebody who isn't a genetic hoss, is actually decent in the ring, is ex-WCW or ex-ECW, is on the way back from an injury or has a decent internet fan base. so i reckon it'll be hurricane. i mean he just got the honour of jobbing to the boss himself, HHH, right??

Boondock Saint 04-12-2005 07:19 PM

A crusierweight I could see going with the exception of Rey, Chavo and London (simply cuz he is the champ). Spike has ties with the Dudleyz so I think he may be safe too.

Hurricane, Rosey, Val Venis, Kenzo/Hiroko (these two are still employed right?) are other choices.

Fox 04-12-2005 08:08 PM

They'll never release Bob Holly, as sad as that is. He sucks on the mic, he sucks in the ring, but for some reason, the heads at WWE love him and give him a push every now and then - for God knows why.

It'll probably be someone who totally doesn't deserve it, like the previously mentioned Shane Helms, Shannon Moore, or Akio. Maybe Scott 2 Hotty, but I would really give a shit less if Scotty got fired.

Maybe Rikishi or Charlie Haas?
