Just got Green Day tickets

Just picked up some pre-sale Green Day tickets for their show coming to Ottawa. I'm on the floor, but not that close to the stage, Row 38. Not the luck that I had with Mötley Crüe when I landed 2nd row seats.

I'm totally psyched. Anyone catch Green Day on their American Idiot tour? How was the show? Jimmy Eat World is opening for them. Don't really know them, but I do believe they have a few songs that played on the radio that I will at least recognize.

I live in Australia and I saw them back in March... Simply Amazing... Billie Joe is one of the BEST performers, EVER. There is no doubt about it. You will have a great time, I can assure you.

I can't remember what the set list was, but they did covers of "Shout" and "We Are The Champions". Both, very good too. I was fair way towards the back of the place they were at, but it doesn't change your opinion of the show, honestly.

They're in Winnipeg on Tuesday my tickets are 9 rows off the floor basically the first section on the side stage. I got mine for free so you cant complain about that :D and My Chemical Romance is opening in Winnipeg here.

also im surprised they have seats on the floor. It's just a pit here.

also I got floor seats to the black eyed peas today :cool:

Saw them in January at the Brixton Academy, they were awesome. I noticed they played quite a bit of stuff from American Idiot, but quite a few of the older songs were still there, and the covers are cool too. As Looking for boobies said, Billie Joe Armstrong is a great frontman.

It's some legal thing in uptight Ottawa. I guess they are worried about moshing and such. When they first did it they had individual seats, they smartened up since then as they make great projectiles, now they weld a group of them together.

Great pick-up on the Black Eyed Peas. They are coming to the Bluesfest here in Ottawa and I'm thinking about trying for tickets. As I mentioned in a different thread I'm not a big fan of rap, but they are a guilty pleasure.

yeah im not a huge fan of there style of music but I enjoy them for some reason. Also Green Day tomorrow :D I will post a review.

They're going to be at the Oxegen festival in July. I will also be there.

I wanted to go so much this year, but I can't...both times they come here. Oh well, I at least got to see them one time. Green Day is one of the best live bands around.

I am desperate to see these guys one day. I have seen some live videos of them and they are absolutely amazing live. Billie Joe is a great performer as mentioned. I'm certain you will have a good time.
